Images of Container-Style Rural Houses

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

Currently, we cannot directly provide images of container-style rural houses, but we can introduce relevant renovation cases for reference.

Case One: A Residence Built from Three Containers This residence is constructed by stacking two standard containers vertically, with one side cantilevered out. Beneath it lies a custom-made widened container serving as the main body of the first floor, connecting all parts like a纽带 (link). This design not only cleverly incorporates a staircase leading to the second floor but also fills the cantilevered section with large panoramic windows, significantly enhancing indoor lighting and views. The residential living area covers 138 square meters, complemented by an equally spacious outdoor space, providing residents with a comfortable and roomy living environment. The flat roof has been transformed into a terrace, adding a recreational area; the shaded corridor beneath the cantilevered container offers a cool resting spot in hot summers while adding to the building's aesthetic appeal. This renovation approach fully utilizes the spatial characteristics of containers, creating a functional and pleasant living environment through reasonable layout and design, making it highly suitable for families in rural areas with specific demands for housing space and functionality.

Case Two: The 'Floating House' The 'Floating House' is an elevated residence constructed from recycled shipping containers, suspended among native forests, offering a unique visual experience. The entire building is lifted above the natural ground level, surrounded by native trees. After elevation, the windows align with the tree canopies, and the terraces interweave among the branches, allowing residents to feel as if they are immersed in nature, fully enjoying its beauty and tranquility. The interior walls and ceilings are primarily made of recycled wood from demolition, which is both eco-friendly and creates a warm, natural atmosphere. The house features two wooden platform terraces, providing residents with additional outdoor activity space. The entire structure is supported by metal columns, employing a V-shaped support system that reduces concrete usage and foundation area, saving costs and minimizing environmental impact. The interior doors on the first floor are made from recycled steel plates left over from container cutting, achieving resource reuse and embodying the concepts of environmental protection and sustainable development. This renovation approach is suitable for individuals in rural areas with beautiful natural surroundings who seek a unique living experience.
