Container Refit House Interior Design

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

The interior design of container refit houses is flexible and diverse, customizable according to different needs and scenarios, covering a variety of styles from simple and practical to high-end and luxurious.

I. Basic Structure and Material Selection
The interior design of container houses should be based on the original structure for modification. For example, a wooden frame can be used as the internal support structure, enhancing stability and facilitating subsequent decoration. For wall materials, waterproof boards are a common choice, especially suitable for humid environments, effectively preventing moisture penetration. For higher quality, fire-resistant and soundproof rock wool boards or gypsum boards can be selected. Floor materials can be chosen according to needs, including wooden floors, tiles, or composite floors, with wooden floors creating a warm atmosphere, tiles being easier to clean, and composite floors offering both cost-effectiveness and durability.

II. Functional Zoning and Space Utilization
Container houses can achieve efficient space utilization through reasonable design. For example, combining two containers can create a three-bedroom, one-living-room layout, with functional areas divided by removing some partition walls or adding partitions. High-end homestay models often adopt an open design, integrating the living room, dining room, and kitchen, paired with foldable furniture to save space. The bathroom area can be enhanced with a wet-dry separation design for practicality. Additionally, vertical space in containers can be utilized by installing hanging cabinets or niches to increase storage capacity.

III. Decoration Style and Customized Solutions
According to usage scenarios, interior styles can be divided into simple and high-end models. The simple model is suitable for construction site dormitories or temporary offices, with PVC wall panels or bamboo-wood fiber boards on the walls, equipped with switches, sockets, and basic lighting to meet basic living needs. The high-end model targets homestays or residences, enhancing texture with suspended ceilings, wooden floors, and customized furniture, while reserving positions for air conditioning and hot water equipment to ensure living comfort. Customers can also choose wall materials (such as wood grain, stone grain), floor styles (such as light-colored, dark-colored), and lighting styles (such as modern simplicity, industrial style) according to their preferences, achieving synchronized customization inside and out.

IV. Construction and Move-in Process
The interior decoration of container houses is usually completed in the factory for most processes, including frame construction, material installation, and equipment embedding, with only water and electricity connections required on-site for immediate use. This "modular" production method shortens the construction period while reducing on-site noise and dust pollution. After decoration, ventilation is recommended to eliminate material odors and ensure healthy living.
