Design Drawings of New-Type Container Houses

Design drawings of new-type container houses encompass a variety of creative cases. Here are some typical design introductions:

South Korean Rural Residence: This design cleverly utilizes natural light by installing overlapping containers on the roof while leaving space for a terrace. This layout not only increases the lighting area of the house but also creates an outdoor leisure area, allowing residents to enjoy the natural environment. The overlapping design of the containers also enhances the structural stability of the house and gives it a unique visual effect.

House-within-a-House Design by Architect Adam Kalkin in New Jersey: Adam Kalkin used recycled containers to create an innovative house-within-a-house structure. By connecting indoor and outdoor spaces with glass sliding doors, he breaks the closed nature of traditional houses, allowing indoor and outdoor spaces to interpenetrate and enhancing the sense of openness and comfort of the residence. This design not only reflects environmental protection concepts but also demonstrates the flexibility and innovation of container houses.

Houses Built with Multiple Containers: These houses are composed of multiple containers, equipped with large windows and doors, and the upper floors are connected by metal stairs and bridges. This design highlights the industrial theme and showcases the ruggedness and modernity of container houses. The installation of large windows and doors not only increases the lighting and ventilation effects of the house but also makes the indoor and outdoor spaces more open, enhancing the living experience.

Other Creative Cases: In addition to the above designs, there are also various design cases such as container hotels, desert container buildings, colorful container buildings, House of Hope, comfortable container buildings, weekend getaway houses, and eco-friendly container buildings. These designs each have their own characteristics. Some focus on environmental protection and energy efficiency, some emphasize comfort and aesthetics, and others combine local cultural and environmental characteristics, demonstrating the diversity and innovation of container house design.
