Container Mobile House Worker

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The work of container mobile house workers mainly revolves around the installation, construction, maintenance, and management of container houses, which can be divided into the following aspects:

1. Installation and Construction
The installation of container mobile houses must adhere to modular building standards. Workers need to complete the splicing, fixing, and connection of container units on-site. For example, in the MRDC modular hotel project in Papua New Guinea by China Construction Science and Engineering Corporation, workers assembled steel structure modules produced domestically through hoisting operations on-site, with the entire project taking only 7 months, more than 50% shorter than traditional construction. During installation, structural stability must be ensured, including welding steel frames, securing bolts, and sealing joints, while also connecting internal systems such as water and electricity pipelines and sanitary facilities. For some projects (such as foldable containers), workers also need to master the operation techniques of special folding mechanisms to achieve rapid deployment and retraction.

2. Maintenance and Inspection
Workers need to regularly inspect the physical properties of container houses, including waterproofing, thermal insulation, earthquake resistance, and fire resistance. For example, for the weathering steel container houses of Hangzhou Yuanzhu Technology Co., Ltd., which use special coating treatments, workers need to monitor the integrity of the coating to prevent rusting; for the honeycomb core composite wall panels of Shanghai Delosi Mobile House Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the durability of recycled materials needs to be checked. Additionally, workers need to maintain internal facilities such as sewage systems, air conditioners, and restrooms to ensure the normal functioning of the house.

3. On-site Management
In large-scale projects, workers need to coordinate the layout and transportation of container houses. For example, for the 63 modular elderly care apartment modules purchased by British merchants, which needed to be transported from a Chinese factory to a British port, workers needed to plan the hoisting sequence and on-site assembly path. At the same time, workers must comply with safety regulations, such as wearing protective equipment, setting up warning signs, and handling construction waste to meet environmental requirements.

4. Adapting to Multi-scenario Needs
Container house workers need to adjust their work priorities according to different application scenarios. On construction sites, houses need to meet the rapid construction needs of temporary dormitories or offices; in wilderness workplaces, the wind and snow resistance of houses needs to be enhanced; in high-end projects such as data centers, they need to cooperate with the installation requirements of precision equipment. For example, for the prefabricated modules provided by CIMC for an AI computing data center, workers needed to complete the entire process from contract signing to the first batch of module shipments within 4 months.
