Self-built Container Mobile House

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

When self-building a container mobile house, it is necessary to comprehensively consider various factors such as structural type, installation process, compliance, and safety.

I. Selection of Structural Type Common structural types of container mobile houses include welded integral boxes and bolt-connected assembled boxes. The welded integral box is welded into shape as a whole in the factory, with a direct load-bearing path. The roof load is transferred through the side wall columns to the bottom sill, and then evenly distributed to the ground through the bottom sill. It has strong resistance to deformation and is suitable for frequent lifting and moving. The bolt-connected assembled box uses standard plates connected by bolts. There are multiple connection nodes in the load-bearing path, and the tightness of each node directly affects the overall stability. When purchasing, it is necessary to check the steel plate thickness of the columns and bottom sill. Common specifications range from 1.5 mm to 3 mm. The thicker the plate, the greater the load-bearing redundancy, but the self-weight also increases accordingly.

II. Key Points of the Installation Process The installation of a container mobile house involves multiple technical aspects such as structural mechanics, ground engineering, and waterproofing. It is necessary to ensure that the ground is flat and solid to bear the weight of the house. During the installation process, assemble the components according to the correct load-bearing path to ensure that all parts are firmly connected. For welded integral boxes, pay attention to the welding quality; for bolt-connected assembled boxes, ensure that the bolts are tightened properly. Some products have completed interior pre-installation before leaving the factory and can be put into use immediately after on-site lifting, saving time and cost for secondary decoration.

III. Compliance and Safety When purchasing a container mobile house, it is important to first verify the product's wind and earthquake resistance test reports to ensure compliance with relevant standards. Under extreme conditions, such as a coastal typhoon of magnitude 12 or a high-intensity earthquake of magnitude 8, compliant products offer greater structural stability. At the same time, choose manufacturers with production subject qualifications and domestic and foreign certifications to ensure project delivery and after-sales implementation capabilities. Avoid choosing unqualified white-label products to prevent safety hazards and increased rework costs.
