Container Mobile House Color Steel Tile
Admin 14 de septiembre de 2026
The color steel tiles used in container mobile houses are lightweight and high-strength building panels made from galvanized steel sheets as the base material, which are cold-formed and then compounded with core materials. Their core characteristics and application scenarios are as follows:

I. Material Structure and Mechanical Properties
The color steel tiles consist of a three-layer composite structure:
- Surface Layer: Made of galvanized steel sheets 0.3-0.6 millimeters thick, formed into a wavy or rectangular cross-section through cold-forming processes. It primarily bears tensile stress and has significant wind load resistance. For example, in the windy spring environment of Baotou construction sites, the steel sheets and core materials work together to effectively resist the bending moments generated by wind loads.
- Core Material: Filled with polystyrene or rock wool internally, it primarily bears shear stress and provides thermal insulation. The thermal conductivity of rock wool core materials is as low as 0.03-0.04 W/(m·K), which can buffer indoor temperature fluctuations caused by day-night temperature differences and solve the problem of poor thermal insulation in traditional brick-and-mortar houses.
- Connection Method: The steel sheets and core materials are compounded with high-strength adhesives to form an overall load-bearing structure, avoiding local stress concentrations.
II. Application Scenarios and Advantages
Temporary Building Sector
- Construction Site Dormitories/Offices: The lightweight nature of color steel tiles (with a density of approximately 1.4-2.0 t/m³) reduces transportation and installation costs, and their modular design supports rapid assembly. For example, at a Baotou construction site, a standard unit (3.6m×6m) can be assembled by four workers in three hours using bolted C-shaped steel frames.
- Emergency Shelters: Foldable box-type color steel tile houses can be collapsed to one-fifth of their expanded volume, facilitating rapid deployment after disasters.
Industrial and Commercial Scenarios
- Warehousing: Corrugated box-type color steel tiles have high structural strength and excellent impact resistance, making them suitable for environments with high abrasion resistance requirements, such as mining areas and factories.
- Exhibition Spaces: Glass curtain wall container houses combine panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass with color steel tile frames to meet the display needs of scenic spot reception centers and temporary exhibition halls.
Special Environment Adaptation
- Cross-Regional Relocation: Color steel tile houses have a material recovery rate of over 90% and can be disassembled and reassembled multiple times, adapting to frequent relocation scenarios such as overseas camps and cultural tourism projects.
- Extreme Climates: Double-layer color steel tile structures combined with rock wool core materials maintain structural stability in environments ranging from -30℃ to 50℃.
