Container Mobile House Assembly

Admin 14 de septiembre de 2026

The assembly of container mobile houses requires selecting corresponding processes according to specific types. The core steps include foundation preparation, module assembly, functional system installation, and acceptance. The assembly processes vary for different structural types (such as quick-assembly containers and folding containers).

1. Foundation Preparation and Site Requirements

Before assembly, ensure that the site is flat and hardened, and the bearing capacity meets the requirements (e.g., the thickness of the concrete foundation is ≥15cm). If used for multi-story stacking, pre-embed anchor bolts or install steel bearing frames in advance. For example, the standard size of a quick-assembly packing container is 5950mm×3000mm×2800mm. Sufficient operating space should be reserved, and the ground height difference should not exceed 50mm to avoid structural deformation.

2. Modular Assembly Process

  1. Quick-Assembly Container Series It adopts full-bolt connections, and four workers can complete the assembly of a single container in 3 hours. The steps are as follows:
  • Install the bottom frame and level it, with an error controlled within ±2mm;
  • Hoist the wall panels and roof modules, and fix the corner fittings with high-strength bolts;
  • Install an independent drainage system to ensure that the slope of the roof is ≥5° to prevent water accumulation. This type of structure can bear up to 6 layers of stacking and is suitable for scenarios such as construction site offices and overseas camps.
  1. Folding Container Series The collapsed volume is only 1/5 of the expanded state. The assembly process is as follows:
  • Expand the hydraulic or mechanical support structure, which takes 5-10 minutes for a single person to operate;
  • Lock each connection node and check the integrity of the sealing strips at the folding points;
  • Install additional components (such as stairs and canopies). The products of Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure adopt hydraulic automatic expansion, with an efficiency increase of more than 50% compared with manual assembly.

3. Functional System Integration

  1. Electrical System Pre-embed wire troughs and install distribution boxes. The wires should be protected by metal conduits. The lighting and socket circuits should be set up independently, and the load capacity should be designed according to 16A per circuit to meet the use of equipment such as air conditioners and water heaters.

  2. Water Supply and Drainage System It adopts a self-draining design, and the roof rainwater is directed to the ground through PVC pipes. The toilet module should be connected to a septic tank or municipal sewer network, and the water pressure test should reach 0.6MPa without leakage.

  3. Thermal Insulation and Sealing The thickness of the rock wool sandwich panel should be ≥75mm, and the thermal conductivity should be ≤0.045W/(m·K). Structural sealant should be applied at the joints between the window frames and the walls, and the air tightness should meet the GB/T 7106-2008 standard.

4. Acceptance and Maintenance

After assembly, a water spraying test (lasting for 2 hours) and a structural stability test should be carried out. Daily maintenance includes checking the tightness of bolts every six months and replacing the sealing strips every year. The material recovery rate exceeds 90%, meeting the requirements of green buildings.
