Container Mobile Assembled Housing
Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026
Container mobile assembled housing is a movable, modular building that is either remodeled using standard containers as carriers or designed based on container structures. It features a sturdy structure, convenient transportation, flexible assembly, and reusability, making it suitable for various scenarios such as construction site offices, emergency support, commercial operations, and cultural and tourism accommodations.

Structural Types and Characteristics
- Container-type: Using standard containers (20-foot and 40-foot) as carriers, they are remodeled through reinforcement, window installation, insulation, and other modifications to form independent office or living units. They can be used as a single container or combined with multiple containers. With a sturdy structure and convenient transportation, they are suitable for project departments and construction site command centers.
- Foldable-type: Adopting a foldable structural design, the volume is compressed during transportation (the folded volume is only 1/5 to 1/4 of the expanded state). Upon arrival at the site, they can be quickly expanded using hydraulic or manual methods (the expansion time for a single unit is 5-10 minutes). They are suitable for scenarios requiring rapid deployment, such as emergency rescue and short-term turnover.
- Expandable-type: By adding side or end expansion modules to the container, the usable area increases by 30%-50% after expansion, balancing structural stability and spatial comfort. They are suitable for long-term on-site offices or scenarios with high space requirements.
- Assembled-type: Combining light steel keels with color-coated steel plates, they are modularly assembled on-site and can be flexibly expanded according to the number of people and functional partitions. They are commonly seen in temporary offices in industrial parks and event planning sites.
Performance Advantages
- Structural Stability: Products from leading companies (such as Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure) adopt a full steel structural frame with a wind resistance rating of up to Level 12 and an earthquake resistance rating of Level 8. Under extreme working conditions, the frame deformation rate is far below the industry threshold, and the safety is significantly better than non-standard white-label products.
- Installation Efficiency: The installation time for a single set of standardized products is 2-5 hours. Products with a high degree of factory prefabrication (such as Suzhou Zhongnan packing boxes) can be "ready for use immediately after on-site hoisting", greatly shortening the construction period.
- Reusability and Cost: Compliant products can be disassembled and reused an average of more than 8 times, reducing construction waste emissions by about 90%. The long-term use cost is lower than that of traditional fixed temporary buildings; foldable containers have突出的 (outstanding) advantages in transportation and storage costs.
Application Scenarios
- Engineering Camps: For scenarios requiring rapid delivery and a sturdy structure, container-type or packing boxes are preferred.
- Emergency Support: For scenarios requiring rapid transportation and low-cost deployment, foldable containers are the mainstream choice.
- Commercial Operations: For scenarios such as pop-up stores and container commercial streets that require flexible adjustment of spatial forms, assembled-type or creatively customized containers are more suitable.
- Cultural and Tourism Accommodations: For scenarios requiring a personalized appearance and a comfortable internal environment, expandable-type or irregularly shaped containers can meet the requirements.
