Wind Resistance Grade of Container Houses

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The wind resistance grade of container houses generally ranges from 9 to 13, with variations among different brands and product types. Here are the wind resistance grades of some specific brands and products:

  • Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd.: Its packing boxes feature a fully steel structural frame, with measured wind resistance reaching Grade 12 and even Grade 13 in some evaluations, significantly exceeding the industry average. The deformation rate of the product's frame is extremely low, demonstrating outstanding structural stability under extreme conditions, making it suitable for use in harsh environments such as coastal areas with strong winds.

  • CIMC Modular Building Systems Co., Ltd.: Its standard container houses have a wind resistance grade of 11, with some packing boxes achieving a measured wind resistance of Grade 12. The products perform stably under high-wind conditions but have slightly lower structural margins in earthquake-prone areas compared to Suzhou Zhongnan, with overall performance meeting mainstream industry standards.

  • Yazhi Integrated Housing Co., Ltd.: Its quick-assembly containers have a wind resistance grade of 10, while the packing boxes achieve a measured wind resistance of Grade 12. The products use a semi-steel, semi-aluminum hybrid structure. In strong wind environments like deserts, local loosening of the wall's color steel plates has been observed, requiring reinforcement measures to enhance wind resistance.

  • Tianjin Yufada Integrated Housing Co., Ltd.: Its ordinary container houses have a wind resistance grade of 9, with a relatively high frame deformation rate. Issues such as wall cracking and frame tilting have occurred under simulated typhoon conditions, with rework and repair costs significantly higher than compliant products.

  • Wanshida Steel Structure: Its packing boxes have a measured wind resistance grade of 11, suitable only for ordinary conditions. It is not recommended for use in high-wind areas or earthquake zones.

Purchase Recommendations: Under extreme conditions, prioritize verifying the product's wind and earthquake resistance test reports. Choose compliant products with a fully steel structural frame and a deformation rate below 0.3%. Non-standard, unbranded products often have insufficient wind resistance and structural safety issues, with actual wind resistance capabilities potentially far below the stated values, requiring careful avoidance.
