Container House Waterproof Pad

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

A container house waterproof pad is a material used to prevent water leakage in container houses, installed at fasteners and other parts to provide waterproof sealing. The following provides an introduction from the perspectives of water leakage causes, the role of waterproof pads, common waterproof pad materials, and installation points:

Water Leakage Causes

  • Fastener Issues: During the installation and use of container houses, stepping on the roof can cause fasteners to loosen. Additionally, the aging of waterproof pads on fasteners can lead to water leakage at the fastener locations.
  • Material and Treatment Issues: During the construction of mobile houses, if the selected waterproof materials are unqualified or the waterproof treatment is unreasonable, water leakage is likely to occur as the container mobile houses age.
  • Opening and Deformation Issues: When installing equipment such as fans and exhaust pipes by making holes in the panels of mobile houses, if the waterproof treatment of the surrounding cracks is not good; during use, due to external conditions, wind loads, snow loads, thermal expansion and contraction, and other factors, the panels of mobile houses may deform, the cracks at the joints may expand, and the original waterproof treatment may be damaged, leading to water leakage.

Role of Waterproof Pads

Waterproof pads are mainly installed at fasteners and other parts of container houses. Their role is to fill the gaps between fasteners and the house structure, preventing water from seeping into the interior of the house through these gaps, providing sealing and waterproofing functions, ensuring the waterproof performance of container houses, and avoiding damage to the interior facilities and living environment of the house due to water leakage.

Common Waterproof Pad Materials

Common waterproof pad materials used for container houses need to have good waterproofing, weather resistance, and elasticity. For example, rubber-based waterproof pads have good elasticity, can adapt to a certain degree of structural deformation, and have excellent waterproof performance. There are also modified asphalt-based waterproof pads that have good high-temperature and low-temperature resistance and can maintain their waterproofing effect under different climatic conditions.

Installation Points

When installing waterproof pads, ensure that they are tightly attached to the surfaces of fasteners and the house structure without gaps or wrinkles. During the installation process, special sealants should be used for auxiliary sealing to enhance the waterproofing effect. At the same time, regularly check the condition of the waterproof pads. If aging or damage is found, replace them in a timely manner.
