Container House Wall Panel Installation

Admin 14 de septiembre de 2026

The installation of wall panels for container houses requires following key steps such as base surface treatment, steel structure assembly, wall panel installation, and door, window, and waterproofing treatment. Details are as follows:

Base Surface Treatment: Before installation, ensure that the foundation is level. Use a level to check that the error does not exceed 2 millimeters. If it exceeds the limit, leveling treatment is required. The dryness of the base surface must meet the requirements, with a relative humidity below 60%, which can be detected using a hygrometer. A humid environment will accelerate the aging of wall panels made of coated steel plates, leading to coating peeling or mildew. Therefore, base surface treatment is the foundation for ensuring the long-term stability of wall panels.

Steel Structure Assembly: The framework of a container house is usually composed of square tube columns and steel beams. During assembly, all connection points must be fastened with screws, and the verticality, straightness, and component dimensions of the steel beams must be checked to ensure they meet design requirements. For example, the verticality of steel beams should be adjusted using a plumb line, and their positions should be calibrated with a steel tape measure to ensure overall structural stability. After assembly, horizontal supports and steel beam inserts must be welded, and the square tube columns must be fixed to the chassis iron to form a rigid support system.

Wall Panel Installation: Wall panel installation should be carried out after the steel structure has passed inspection. Openings for doors and windows must be reserved in advance to avoid structural damage from later cutting. The installation sequence of wall panels should be coordinated with that of the roof and floor panels, such as completing the installation of exterior walls before covering the roof, and reserving positions for subsequent equipment installation on the roof. Wall panel connections must be tight to prevent water leakage or air infiltration through gaps.

Door, Window, and Waterproofing Treatment: Door and window installations must ensure a tight fit without gaps. After installation, waterproofing treatment is required, such as applying sealant at the joints between window frames and wall panels. Doors must remain straight to avoid jamming during opening and closing. Waterproofing work is a critical part of concealed engineering, and strict inspection of the construction quality of water pipes, electrical circuits, and moisture-proof layers is necessary to prevent structural corrosion or indoor dampness caused by leakage.
