18㎡ Two-Story Container House Renovation
This design achieves functional zoning in a compact space. On the first floor, the left side features a kitchen and bathroom, utilizing integrated cabinets and wall-mounted bathroom fixtures to maximize vertical space. The right side serves as a living room area, with flexible space conversion enabled by foldable furniture. The second floor is connected by a steel staircase and includes a master bedroom and a children's room. The design employs a wooden frame paired with black wrought iron railings, ensuring structural stability while creating a warm atmosphere. The bedroom area increases storage space by raising the floor and uses double-glazed windows for both lighting and sound insulation.
44㎡ Two-Story Container House
This design places greater emphasis on spatial experience. The first floor features an open kitchen and living room, connected to the second floor by a spiral staircase. The staircase combines steel structure with wooden treads, saving space while enhancing visual appeal. The second floor includes a master bedroom and an en-suite bathroom, with the bathroom featuring a wet-dry separation design, equipped with a smart toilet and a thermostatic showerhead. The bedroom has an observation deck outside, with railings combining transparent glass and metal frames, and decorative lights hanging, creating a romantic atmosphere at night. The exterior walls of the house are a combination of rot-resistant wood and metal panels, ensuring durability and enhancing aesthetics.
Design Commonalities
Both designs adopt a modular construction approach, enabling rapid assembly through standard container sizes. Structurally, they are reinforced with steel frames to ensure the safety of the second-floor load-bearing. The door and window systems use thermal break aluminum frames with insulated glass, effectively improving thermal insulation performance. The interior decoration focuses on the application of eco-friendly materials, such as E0-grade panels and water-based paints, reducing formaldehyde emissions. These design features enable container houses to meet residential needs while possessing a unique industrial aesthetic style.
