Container House Transportation Fee

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The transportation fee for container houses varies depending on the mode of transportation, distance, container specifications, and the need for additional services, making it impossible to provide a single price without considering specific circumstances.

Mode of Transportation and Basic Freight

  • Waterway Transportation: Taking Hefei to various destinations as an example, the freight for a 20-foot container to Shanghai is approximately 2400 yuan, while the freight for a 40-foot container to Guangzhou is about 7000 yuan. The cost of waterway transportation is significantly influenced by shipping routes, port fees, and container specifications.
  • Railway Transportation: The freight for a 20-foot container from Hefei to Beijing is approximately 4600 yuan, with a transportation time of about 5 days. The cost of railway transportation is related to distance, container size, and station service fees.
  • Road Transportation: The freight for a 20-foot container from Hefei to Beijing is approximately 7500 yuan, with a truck price (12.5 meters) of about 6000 yuan. The cost of road transportation is greatly affected by distance, vehicle type, and road conditions. Short-distance transportation offers high flexibility but may have higher unit costs.

Distance and Excess Mileage Fees

In long-distance transportation, excess mileage fees are an important component. For example, Huolala charges approximately 2-3 yuan per kilometer for long-distance trips (exceeding 200 kilometers), while traditional companies in first-tier cities charge about 5-10 yuan per kilometer. The farther the distance, the lower the unit mileage fee may be, but the total cost will still increase significantly.

Container Specifications and Configuration

Container specifications (such as 20-foot and 40-foot) directly affect transportation costs. Additionally, special configurations (such as thickened insulation and windproof design) increase transportation difficulty and costs. For example, due to the harsh climate at the Khorgos Port, containers require enhanced insulation, resulting in transportation costs that are 20%-30% higher than those in North China.

Additional Service Fees

Additional service fees include floor fees, large item disassembly and assembly fees, waiting fees, and highway tolls, which may account for 30%-40% of total expenses. For example, the floor fee for buildings without elevators ranges from 15-80 yuan per floor, and the air conditioner relocation fee ranges from 180-500 yuan per unit. If additional services are required during transportation, costs will increase significantly.
