Fixation of Toilets in Container Houses

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

There are mainly two methods for fixing toilets in container houses: glass glue fixation and expansion bolt fixation. The specific choice depends on the floor material and installation requirements.

Glass Glue Fixation

  • Applicable Scenarios: Glass glue fixation is suitable for materials such as flat tiles on the floor. This method is relatively simple to operate and does not cause damage to the floor.

  • Key Operation Points:

    • Floor Preparation: Before installation, ensure that the floor is dry, flat, and clean, with no stains or old seal ring residues.
    • Glue Application Techniques: First, draw lines on the floor and apply a circle of glue along the inner side of the lines to form a closed loop. Then, place the toilet base on the glue. Finally, apply another circle of glue on the outside to ensure sealing. If it is difficult to apply glue near the wall, apply more glue on the floor in advance. When the toilet base is placed, the glue will be squeezed out and can be evenly spread with your fingers.
    • Sealing Effect: High-quality glass glue and correct glue application methods can ensure a good seal between the toilet and the floor, preventing water seepage and odor emission.

Expansion Bolt Fixation

  • Applicable Scenarios: Expansion bolt fixation is more reliable but will damage the floor. It is suitable for scenarios with high requirements for fixation strength.

  • Key Operation Points:

    • Positioning and Drilling: Mark and drill holes on the floor according to the installation hole positions of the toilet base.
    • Installing Expansion Bolts: Insert the expansion bolts into the holes and tighten the nuts to make the bolts expand and fix them on the floor.
    • Fixing the Toilet: Align the toilet base with the expansion bolts, place it down, and adjust it to be level. Then, fix it with nuts.
    • Sealing Treatment: After fixation, apply a circle of glass glue along the edge where the toilet contacts the floor to further enhance sealing.

Precautions

  • Level Adjustment: Regardless of the fixation method used, a level gauge should be used to ensure that the toilet is level in all directions to prevent usage problems caused by uneven installation.
  • Flange Installation: When installing the flange, ensure that its center is aligned with the sewage pipe opening. Apply a circle of glass glue around the edge to fix it and prevent sewage leakage.
