Container House Spray Real Stone Paint

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The following steps and precautions should be followed when spraying real stone paint on container houses:

I. Construction Steps

  1. Base Surface Treatment Thoroughly clean the wall surface, repair holes and cracks, and remove defects such as looseness, peeling, hollowing, and pulverization to ensure the base layer is flat, clean, and meets the required strength. New walls should be dried for more than 1 month, while old walls should have loose surface layers and oil stains removed.

  2. Exterior Wall Putty Application Use exterior wall putty for local leveling, sand after drying; then apply a full coat of putty and sand again to ensure the wall flatness error is ≤2mm. Choose putty with strong water resistance to prevent cracking later.

  3. Alkali-Resistant Primer Application Apply two coats of alkali-resistant primer without dilution. The primer enhances the base layer's strength and the coating's adhesion, preventing the real stone paint from showing through or becoming uneven. Ensure uniform coverage without omissions during application.

  4. Solid Color Primer Spraying Adjust the solid color primer according to the color of the real stone paint, selecting durable and water-resistant exterior latex paint. Spray two coats to ensure consistent color. This step reduces the amount of real stone paint used and enhances the decorative effect.

  5. Real Stone Paint Spraying

  • Tool Selection: Use a spray gun with an air pressure of 4-7kg/cm² and a nozzle distance of 400-800mm from the wall.
  • Construction Requirements: Spray 2-3 coats, with a 2-hour interval between each coat, controlling the total thickness at 2-3mm. The first coat should be slightly thinner, and the second coat slightly thicker. After spraying, use airflow to create a wavy pattern to simulate the effect of stone.
  • Environmental Control: The construction temperature should be between 10-35℃, with wind speeds ≤4. Avoid construction during rainy or high-temperature periods.
  1. Clear Varnish Spraying After the real stone paint has dried for 3 days, spray the clear varnish, which can be diluted appropriately. This step enhances the wall's gloss, stain resistance, and service life.

II. Precautions

  1. Protective Measures Before construction, cover doors, windows, and other areas not requiring spraying with plastic sheeting or colored strips to prevent contamination.

  2. Material Selection

  • Choose real stone paint with a water resistance of ≥96 hours and a theoretical service life of ≥20 years.
  • Ensure the配套 (matching) primer and clear varnish are compatible with the real stone paint to avoid compatibility issues.
  1. Quality Control
  • Proceed to the next construction step only after the alkali-resistant primer on the base layer has dried.
  • When multiple spray guns are used simultaneously, ensure they are of the same model to ensure uniform floating points.
  • Avoid vigorous stirring of the real stone paint to prevent particle breakage and affect the effect.
  1. Safety Regulations
  • Keep the construction area away from open flames and equip it with fire extinguishing equipment.
  • Dispose of waste materials according to environmental requirements to avoid environmental pollution.
