Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026
Container houses come in a variety of specifications and models, with common standard sizes and customized specifications as follows:

I. Standard Container House Specifications Container houses are mostly modified based on international standard containers, with common types including 20-foot standard containers (20GP), 40-foot standard containers (40GP), and 40-foot high cube containers (40HQ).
- 20-foot standard container: The external dimensions are 6058mm (length) × 2438mm (width) × 2591mm (height), and the internal usable dimensions are 5867mm × 2330mm × 2350mm, suitable for single-person offices, dormitories, or small shops.
- 40-foot standard container: The external dimensions are 12192mm × 2438mm × 2591mm, and the internal dimensions are 11998mm × 2330mm × 2350mm, which can be divided into multi-functional spaces or multi-person dormitories.
- 40-foot high cube container: The external height is increased to 2896mm, and the internal height is 2655mm, suitable for exhibition halls or housing with height requirements.
II. Non-standard Customized Container House Specifications According to actual needs, the length, width, and height of container houses can be flexibly adjusted. Common non-standard sizes include:
- Length: 3m, 6m, 8m, 9m, 12m, etc. For example, a 3m × 6m container house is often used for temporary housing on construction sites, with a rental price of about 6 yuan per day.
- Width: 2.5m, 2.55m, 3m, 4m, etc. For example, the duplex container house provided by Guangzhou Jinge Company has a single-box width of 2.25m, and the spliced width can reach 6.75m.
- Height: 2.6m, 2.7m, 2.8m, 2.9m, etc. For example, the internal height of a packing-box container house is 2500mm, and the roof material is galvanized color steel plate or glass wool.
III. Special-purpose Container House Specifications Some scenarios require special designs, for example:
- Giant spliced buildings: Composed of multiple standard containers, such as a four-story building using 16 12m × 2.4m × 3m containers spliced together to form a large space.
- High wind and earthquake resistance specifications: For example, the products of Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. have a frame deformation of only 2mm under a 12-level strong wind, complying with the GB50011-2010 Code for Seismic Design of Buildings.
