Container House Size Standards

Container houses come in a variety of size standards, including common 20-foot, 40-foot standard containers, and high-cube containers, as well as domestic trade standard sizes and foreign trade size ranges, with customization options available.

I. International Standard Container Sizes

1. 20-foot Standard Container (20GP): The external dimensions are 6058mm in length, 2438mm in width, and 2591mm in height, with internal dimensions of 5867mm in length, 2330mm in width, and 2350mm in height. This size of container house is commonly used for single-person offices, dormitories, shops, and other scenarios.

2. 40-foot Standard Container (40GP): The external dimensions are 12192mm in length, 2438mm in width, and 2591mm in height, with internal dimensions of 11998mm in length, 2330mm in width, and 2350mm in height. It is suitable for use as a partitionable multifunctional space or multi-person dormitory.

3. 40-foot High-Cube Container (40HQ): The external dimensions are 12192mm in length, 2438mm in width, and 2896mm in height, with internal dimensions of 11998mm in length, 2330mm in width, and 2655mm in height. This high-cube container house is suitable for exhibition halls, housing, and other scenarios that require higher ceiling heights.

II. Domestic General and Foreign Trade Sizes

1. Domestic General Standard Size: 6 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.9 meters in height.

2. Export General Size: 6 meters in length, 2.4 meters in width, and 2.9 meters in height. The foreign trade size range extends from 5.8 meters × 2.2 meters to 11.5 meters × 2.2 meters, corresponding to the two main models of 20-foot and 40-foot containers, with areas of approximately 12.98 square meters and 25.96 square meters, respectively.

III. Domestic Trade Standard Sizes and Customization Options

1. Domestic Trade Standard Size: 3 meters × 6 meters, this size is flexible, with a standard width of 3 meters for a single cabin, and lengths of 3 meters, 6 meters, 9 meters, or 12 meters available, supporting multiple arrangements and stacking.

2. Customization Options: The size of container houses can be customized according to customer needs, with widths of 2.5m, 2.55m, 3m, 4m, etc., and heights of 2.6m, 2.7m, 2.8m, 2.9m, etc. Special door and window positions, partitions, exteriors, and interior decorations can all be customized as required.
