Container House Semi-finished Products

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

Container house semi-finished products mainly refer to modular components that are not fully assembled into complete houses, including steel structural frames, enclosure panels, doors, windows, and other basic components, which require further processing or combination to form complete houses. The following provides an introduction from three aspects: core composition, common types, and key purchasing considerations.

Core Composition

The core of container house semi-finished products consists of steel structural frames and enclosure panels. The steel structural frames are typically welded from special section steels, such as C-section steel frames, which are standard components connected by bolts between containers, featuring a simple structure and convenient and quick installation. In terms of enclosure panels, traditional suppliers often use single-specification finished container panels, such as a combination of 0.8-millimeter-thick corrugated steel plates and 100-millimeter rock wool sandwich panels, which can meet basic insulation requirements in environments as cold as -30 degrees Celsius. However, different regions have specific requirements for panels. For example, in the Jining area, where winters are long and temperature variations are large, the requirements for condensation control on panels are higher than those in the south. If only ordinary galvanized plates are used, when the temperature difference between day and night exceeds 20 degrees Celsius, condensation is likely to form on the inner walls of the container, leading to internal dampness. Therefore, some enterprises adjust the coating formulas on the inner and outer layers of the panels, such as using high-weather-resistant polyester resin coatings on the outer layer and adding moisture-proof aluminum foil layers on the inner layer to reduce the probability of condensation.

Common Types

Common container house semi-finished products include quick-assembly container house frames and residential container doors and windows. The quick-assembly container house frames, which are adjustable prefabricated mobile container house frames, have the characteristics of requiring no welding and being assembled with screws; residential container doors and windows can be customized according to different needs, such as for use in temporary construction offices on construction sites and integrated houses.

Key Purchasing Considerations

When purchasing container house semi-finished products, attention should be paid to technical details such as steel thickness, insulation layer density, and anti-corrosion processes. For regions with special climates like Jining, it is essential to focus on examining the supplier's targeted process improvements for the local climate, such as panel coating formulas and moisture-proof treatments, rather than just focusing on the appearance integrity. At the same time, with changes in market demand, suppliers are gradually shifting from selling single finished products to providing modular solutions. Therefore, it is also worth considering whether the supplier can offer modular combination solutions.
