Container House Roof Panel Design

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

The design of container house roof panels requires selecting appropriate solutions based on different types. Common types and key design points are as follows:

1. Container House Roof Panel Design
Adopts a three-layer composite structural system:

  • Base Layer: Retains the original corrugated steel plate of the container (thickness ≥ 2.0mm) as the structural support foundation.
  • Intermediate Layer: Lays a 100mm thick rock wool board (density ≥ 120kg/m³) to provide thermal insulation and meet fire safety requirements.
  • Surface Layer: Composed of a 1.5mm thick SBS modified bitumen waterproof membrane (waterproof layer) and a 0.8mm thick YX35-125-750 type color-coated steel plate (protective layer). Aluminum-plastic panels or anti-corrosion wooden cladding can be added externally to the color-coated steel plate as decorative layers.
Drainage Design: The roof slope is set at 3%, adopting a single-slope drainage form. The drainage direction is from the middle of the container to the eaves on both sides, with the eaves overhang length controlled within 300mm.
Keel Frame: Adds light steel keels above the original roof panel. The main keels use 8# channel steel (spacing 500mm, arranged along the length of the container), and the secondary keels use 50×30mm square steel tubes (spacing 600mm, perpendicular to the main keels) to enhance overall structural stability.

2. Quick-Assembly Container Panel House Roof Design
The roof and walls uniformly adopt a 50mm thick composite insulation panel, composed of double-layer color-coated steel plates sandwiching a polystyrene or rock wool core material.

  • Structural Advantages: The color-coated steel plates provide impact resistance, while the core material meets both thermal insulation and fire safety needs. The overall structure is lightweight and easy for rapid assembly.
  • Applicable Scenarios: Suitable for temporary buildings or scenarios with high requirements for construction efficiency.

3. Foldable Container House Roof Design

  • Outer Roof: Uses 104-type color-coated steel tiles (thickness 0.5mm) with a corrugated design to promote drainage and reduce water accumulation risks; the top uses custom-shaped profiles to minimize nailing areas and reduce leakage rates.
  • Internal Ceiling: Selects 831-type color-coated steel tiles (hardness 0.326mm) with fireproof, moisture-proof, and thermal insulation functions to enhance indoor comfort.
  • Thermal Insulation Material: The top is filled with rock wool with a density of 60kg/m³ to enhance thermal insulation, sound insulation, and adapt to extreme climatic conditions.

4. Modular Container House Roof Design
Enhances structural stability through a pressed five-wave roof panel. The five-wave shape optimizes the drainage path, reduces rainwater retention time, and lowers leakage risks.

  • Material Selection: The roof panel material must balance strength and corrosion resistance, typically using galvanized steel plates or aluminum alloy plates.
  • Modular Advantages: The roof panel and other modules of the container are produced to standardized specifications, facilitating transportation and assembly, and suitable for large-scale applications.
