Container House Renovation to Electric

Admin 14 de septiembre de 2026

When renovating a container house into an electric house, it is essential to focus on structural renovation, electric system integration, safety, and compliance.

Structural Renovation and Electric System Adaptation

  • Foundation Structure Reinforcement: The original structure of a container is primarily designed for transportation. When renovating it into an electric house, it is necessary to reinforce key load-bearing parts according to the weight and operation mode of electric equipment (such as electric doors and windows, electric lifting platforms, etc.). For example, in areas where electric hydraulic systems are installed, the local strength of the container frame needs to be enhanced to ensure it can withstand the dynamic loads during the operation of the hydraulic device.
  • Space Layout Optimization: The operation of the electric system requires a certain amount of space, such as the tracks for electric doors and windows and the storage space for electric awnings. During the renovation process, it is necessary to plan indoor and outdoor spaces reasonably to avoid interference between electric equipment and furniture, decorations, etc. For example, when installing an electric hydraulic deck on the side of a container, sufficient space needs to be reserved for the expansion and retraction of the deck, while ensuring that the expanded deck does not affect indoor and outdoor passage and activities.

Electric System Integration

  • Power System Design: An electric house requires a stable power supply. A reasonable power system needs to be designed according to the power and usage requirements of electric equipment. This includes selecting appropriate cable specifications, installing distribution boxes and switch sockets, etc. For example, for high-power equipment such as electric hydraulic systems and electric doors and windows, separate circuits need to be set up, and overload protection devices need to be installed to ensure electrical safety.
  • Smart Control System Integration: To achieve intelligent control of the electric house, a smart control system can be integrated to remotely control the on/off and operation modes of electric equipment through a mobile app or smart panel. For example, through the smart control system, functions such as the automatic expansion and retraction of the electric deck and the timed on/off of electric curtains can be realized, enhancing the convenience and comfort of living.

Safety and Compliance

  • Structural Safety Inspection: During the renovation process, the structural safety of the container needs to be inspected to ensure that the renovated house complies with relevant standards such as building seismic design codes. For example, after installing the electric hydraulic system, the deformation of the container frame needs to be inspected to ensure that the deformation is within a safe range under extreme conditions such as strong winds.
  • Electrical Safety Certification: The installation of the electric system needs to comply with electrical safety standards, and all electrical equipment needs to pass relevant certifications to ensure electrical safety. For example, electrical equipment such as cables and distribution boxes needs to have CCC certification marks, and the grounding protection of electric equipment needs to comply with regulatory requirements.
