Production Process of Container Houses

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

The production process of container houses mainly includes five steps: material preparation and foundation treatment, main structure construction, installation and reinforcement, insulation and protection, and interior decoration and facility installation.

Material Preparation and Foundation Treatment: If new containers are used, additional crossbeams need to be added inside, and the bottom and one side need to be cut and removed. If used containers are adopted, the foundation needs to be excavated first, with steel bars laid and concrete poured to form the foundation. Hollow bricks are used to build low walls as the foundation load-bearing walls, and pipelines are laid simultaneously to provide stable support for subsequent construction.

Main Structure Construction: The house can be designed as a two-story structure. The first floor is usually formed by the对接 (butt joint, here it means connecting two containers end to end) of two containers. Horizontal steel beams are added at the bottom of the containers as load-bearing beams and supports. Ultra-strong adhesive is used to bond and reinforce the gaps in the middle at the top, and three layers of adhesive need to be applied repeatedly to ensure structural stability. If used containers are used, the containers need to be arranged side by side perpendicular to the direction of the foundation walls. Multiple containers are arranged on the first floor to form a patio shape. The joints between the containers are welded, holes are cut to create indoor space, and the door and window openings are painted and reinforced. The container floors are removed, the steel beams are retained and polished, and the same treatment is carried out on the second floor, with holes cut to form stairwells and steel plate stairs built.

Installation and Reinforcement: The manufacturer will prepare the positions of windows and doors in advance. During installation, they are stacked layer by layer like building blocks to improve construction efficiency. For used container houses, steel members need to be cut and welded into a huge steel frame, with one end placed on the roof and the other end cantilevered out to form a cantilevered structure, enhancing the overall stability of the house.

Insulation and Protection: Since container houses are relatively cold in winter, 10cm-thick polyurethane insulation boards need to be added to the exterior walls. This material not only has good insulation performance but also has fire-resistant properties. The manufacturer will also add fire-resistant raw materials during manufacturing to further improve the safety of the house.

Interior Decoration and Facility Installation: Interior infrastructure work such as door and window installation, pipeline erection, and floor laying is carried out. A wooden frame is built on the roof, covered with wooden boards and waterproof materials. During interior decoration, stainless steel pipes are vertically fixed on the walls to form a framework, and decorative panels are installed to complete the interior wall decoration. The ceiling is also decorated to enhance the aesthetics and comfort of the house.
