Container House Production Management

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

Container house production management encompasses three core aspects: production process, quality control, and technical key points. It requires standardized, modular, and full-process inspection systems to ensure product performance and construction efficiency.

I. Production Process Management
The production process is divided into six key steps:

  1. Raw Material Preparation and Inspection: Steel materials undergo straightening, rust removal, and cutting pre-processing, with inspections for grade, thickness, and coating adhesion. For second-hand container modifications, evaluations are conducted on the thickness of the container's steel plate, the robustness of the frame, and sealing performance.
  2. Structural Design and Processing: Based on requirements, design the container size, load-bearing system, and functional zoning. Form the frame through cutting, bending, and welding, with welding quality inspected using a weld inspection instrument.
  3. Enclosure Panel Installation: Fire-resistant rock wool sandwich panels are used for the floor, walls, and roof, with multiple sealing structures designed at joints to enhance sound insulation, thermal insulation, and waterproofing.
  4. Corrosion and Waterproofing Treatment: Steel components are sprayed with a double-layer anti-corrosion coating (anti-rust primer + topcoat), and the finished product undergoes an overall waterproofing test before leaving the factory.
  5. Water and Electricity System Installation: The electrical system uses flame-retardant piping to protect circuits, while the water supply and drainage system employs specialized seals for waterproofing at wall-penetrating pipes.
  6. Interior Finishing and Edge Sealing: Finishing materials for floors, walls, and ceilings must balance aesthetics, practicality, and fire resistance ratings.

II. Quality Control Key Points

  1. Full-Process Inspection System: Verify quality inspection reports upon raw material entry, conduct spot checks for weld non-destructive testing and dimensional verification during production, and perform water spray tests, circuit tests, and door/window opening checks before finished product shipment.
  2. Key Technical Controls: Strictly inspect the processing and welding quality of steel structural frames. Corrosion-resistant coatings and waterproof seals must be suitable for humid, coastal, or large temperature-variation environments.
  3. Traceability Management: Establish quality inspection archives, retain detection records for each batch of components, and reduce post-construction issues such as leakage and deformation.

III. Production Management Technical Key Points

  1. Modularization and Standardization: Utilize assembly line operations to centrally complete steel processing, panel compositing, and other processes. Product forms include standard containers, modular containers, and customized containers.
  2. Combination of Automation and Manual Labor: Automated equipment enhances component consistency, while experienced welders ensure robust node connections.
  3. Flexible Combination and Disassembly: Modular design supports the拼接 (splicing) of multiple containers and the addition of auxiliary components (e.g., balconies, awnings). Disassembly and relocation functions are achieved through bolt-tightened connection nodes.

Container houses, with their factory prefabrication, modular construction, and recyclability, are widely applied in temporary construction sites, cultural and tourism accommodations, and other fields. They significantly reduce on-site wet operations and weather impacts, enhancing construction efficiency.
