Container House Power Distribution Details
The power distribution system of container houses needs to comprehensively consider key aspects such as electrical equipment layout, lighting, wiring, insulation, grounding, and lightning protection to ensure safety and functionality.

Electrical Equipment Layout
The technical performance, identification, safety, and wiring methods of electrical equipment inside the container must comply with national or industry standards. The design of the distribution box should consider the three-phase balance of the electrical load to ensure balanced power supply and consumption, and connect to power supply circuits for air conditioners, fans, lighting, etc.
Lighting System
- General Lighting: Emergency lighting is installed indoors. For outdoor lighting, power distribution rooms, and control rooms, LED tri-proof lights are selected, which are dustproof, waterproof, and explosion-proof, with a protection rating of IP65 or above.
- Emergency Lighting: In the event of a system power outage, emergency lights must immediately come into operation, with an effective lighting duration meeting the requirements of the standard "Fire Emergency Lighting and Evacuation Indicating System" (GB 17945—2010), and an emergency luminous flux of ≥50Im.
- Control Method: Lighting can be controlled by on-site manual switches. The access control switch can provide feedback on the access control status, with the endpoint of the access control signal line being the client's control cabinet. The contractor needs to reserve the cable to the connection point.
Wiring Harness and Wiring
The wires and cables in the power supply system should be outdoor-type cross-linked polyethylene insulated flame-retardant cables with different color identifications, featuring independent insulation and sheath layers, with a long-term operating temperature of not less than 105°C, and a rated insulation withstand voltage value one level higher than the actual voltage value.
Insulation Protection
The passageways in the box-type energy storage battery room should be paved with high-quality flame-retardant insulation mats with an insulation voltage of not less than 5kV, covering the entire passageway and the gaps between equipment cabinets, and neatly trimmed for aesthetics.
Grounding System
All grounding posts must be kept free of paint, rust, welding beads, etc., to ensure good contact between the grounding cables and the grounding posts. The grounding posts inside the box should be welded to the container body for equipotential bonding. The grounding copper bar should be connected to non-functional conductive conductors (such as metal casings) to form a reliable equipotential. Grounding points should be clearly marked, and a high-quality lightning protection system should be installed on the roof, connected to at least two grounding bars via grounding flat steel or round steel.
Lightning Protection System
The lightning protection design must strictly comply with the "Technical Code for Lightning Protection of Building Electronic Information Systems" (GB 50343) and the "Code for Design of Lightning Protection of Buildings" (GB 50057) to ensure the safety of electrical equipment and personnel during lightning strikes. If the container is not within the coverage of the original lightning protection equipment or does not meet the requirements for Class I lightning protection, a separate lightning protection system should be installed.
