Container House Making Tutorial
Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026
Here is the container house making tutorial:

I. Foundation Frame Construction
- Chassis Welding: Use 140×50 channel steel to weld the steel frame chassis. For a 3m×6m residential container chassis, 4×8×2.0 square steel should be used for the crossbeams, with a spacing of 35 centimeters. The columns and roof ring beams are fully welded with 5×5×2.0 square steel to ensure structural stability.
- Column Installation: The column thickness should be no less than 1mm. It can be shaped by professional equipment or directly purchased as a finished product from the market. The columns and chassis channel steel form the house frame, determining the overall load-bearing capacity.
II. Wall and Roof Construction
- Color Steel Plate Splicing: The wall and roof panels are made of 50mm thick purification plates with a double-sided white coating. Reserve a 930×1000 sliding window size for the windows and use a specially made 930×2000 color steel plate door.
- Chassis Reinforcement: Lay 18mm thick building templates on the chassis. The load-bearing standard should reach 200 kilograms per square meter to ensure a flat ground and structural safety.
III. Interior Decoration and Function Completion
- Floor Treatment: Lay high-grade floor leather on the chassis surface to improve moisture resistance and aesthetics while simplifying the cleaning process.
- Electrical System Installation: Place the lighting fixtures in the center, install the switches beside the door, position the sockets 60 centimeters above the ground, and open the air conditioning hole on the opposite side of the door. The wires should be hidden inside the walls to avoid exposure risks.
- Waterproofing Treatment: Use glass curtain wall special waterproof glue at the seams of the roof panels. Its weather resistance is 5-6 times that of ordinary glue, which can resist wind and rain erosion for a long time.
IV. Safety and Detail Optimization
- Anti-theft and Sealing: Install window security grilles and seal all seams with glue to prevent rainwater leakage.
- Modular Design: Adopt a standardized 3×6-meter unit that supports horizontal or vertical splicing to adapt to different scenarios.
Precautions:
- Welding operations should be carried out by professionals to ensure the connection strength between the channel steel and square tubes.
- When cutting color steel plates, wear protective equipment to avoid injury from metal debris.
- The electrical system installation should comply with national safety standards. It is recommended to reserve maintenance ports for easy later maintenance.
