Container House Lifting Machine

Admin 14 de septiembre de 2026

For the lifting of container houses, equipment such as quayside container cranes (quay cranes), rubber-tired gantry cranes (RTGs), rail-mounted gantry cranes (RMGs), container straddle carriers, and container reach stackers (reach stackers) are commonly used. Details are as follows:

  • Quayside Container Cranes (Quay Cranes): These are specialized equipment used at the forefront of container terminals for loading and unloading ships. They move along rails with a gantry structure equipped with dedicated lifting appliances, suitable for 50,000-ton container ships, with a single unit weighing up to a thousand tons. Equipped with multifunctional components such as dedicated telescopic lifting appliances, grabs, and hooks, they can achieve precise loading and unloading of a full range of goods. Using automated control systems and intelligent technologies, they support all-weather operations, with loading and unloading efficiency increased by over 50% compared to traditional gantry cranes.

  • Rubber-Tired Gantry Cranes (RTGs) and Rail-Mounted Gantry Cranes (RMGs): RTGs rely on tires for mobility, offering high maneuverability and suitable for flexible handling and stacking of containers within yards. RMGs, on the other hand, move along rails, providing higher stability and are commonly used in high-density yard operations. Both can handle 20-foot and 40-foot containers and are core equipment for yard management.

  • Container Straddle Carriers: These feature a straddle-type handling design, controlling lifting appliances through hydraulic systems to accurately grasp, lift, and lower containers. They are mainly used for horizontal transportation from the quay front to yards and yard stacking, combining characteristics such as maneuverability, high efficiency, and good stability, adapting to narrow space operation requirements.

  • Container Reach Stackers (Reach Stackers): Specifically designed for loading and unloading 20-foot and 40-foot international containers, with a maximum lifting capacity of 45 tons and capable of stacking up to 5 layers of containers. They are suitable for container stacking and horizontal transportation within yards and terminals, serving as key equipment for efficient yard operations.
