Interior Wall Panels for Container Houses

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

Common materials for interior wall panels of container houses include orange-peel-patterned color-coated steel composite panels, galvanized steel sheets, and bamboo-wood fiber panels, each with its own characteristics.

Orange-peel-patterned color-coated steel composite panels: These panels are often selected for both the inner and outer sides of the wall panels of Zeyu's foldable container houses. The standard color for the containers is white with white frames, but customization options are available, including white with black frames, wood grain, gray, green, blue, camouflage, and other colors. The surface features a subtle concave-convex structure formed through a special embossing process, known as the orange-peel pattern. This design effectively disperses the flow path of rainwater, preventing water accumulation and rusting. The double-sided orange-peel-patterned color-coated steel layers enhance the rigidity of the panels through their physical form, improving overall strength. Different materials can be filled between the wall panels, such as EPS (expanded polystyrene foam), PU (polyurethane foam), and Class A fire-resistant rock wool. The wall panels of Zeyu's container houses are filled with Class A fire-resistant rock wool, which is a non-combustible material that does not soften or deform at 800°C, releases no toxic smoke during fires, and significantly enhances the compressive strength of the wall panels, providing fire resistance, thermal insulation, and structural reinforcement functions.

Galvanized steel sheets: Standard maritime containers commonly use galvanized corrugated steel sheets. These steel sheets undergo hot-dip galvanization, resulting in a zinc coating thickness of 12 to 15 micrometers, which effectively resists corrosion, especially in coastal areas where rusting is less likely to occur. Their wavy design enhances structural strength, allowing a 1.6-millimeter-thick steel sheet to easily withstand the stacking pressure of three layers of containers. If thermal insulation is required, Class A fire-resistant materials such as rock wool are sandwiched between two layers of steel sheets, providing both sound insulation and resistance to temperatures up to 800°C, balancing structural stability and functionality.

Bamboo-wood fiber panels: These panels have become popular in the interior decoration of container houses in recent years, primarily due to their moisture resistance and lightweight nature, making them particularly suitable for humid environments or scenarios sensitive to weight. The installation method is similar to assembling building blocks, being simple and convenient, allowing for quick completion of wall decoration. Additionally, they offer a diverse range of textures and color options to meet personalized needs.
