Interior Floor Treatment of Container Houses
Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026
There are various ways to treat the interior floors of container houses, and the appropriate method can be selected based on actual needs and usage environments. Here are common treatment methods and considerations:

I. Common Floor Treatment Methods
- Concrete Floor
- Suitable for places where goods are frequently moved or have high usage frequencies, such as temporary warehouses and workshops. Its advantages include strong load-bearing capacity, a flat and easy-to-clean surface, and relatively low cost. However, its hard texture results in poor comfort, and standing for long periods can cause fatigue. It is suitable for temporary dormitories with limited budgets and low comfort requirements.
- Wooden Flooring
- Suitable for places requiring comfort and decoration, such as offices and rest areas. Wooden flooring offers a good visual effect and creates a warm atmosphere, but moisture-proof treatment is necessary to prevent deformation due to humidity changes.
- Plastic Floor Panels
- These panels are waterproof, moisture-proof, and wear-resistant, making them suitable for humid environments or places requiring waterproofing, such as bathrooms and kitchens. They are easy to install and cost-effective, but long-term use may result in scratches due to friction.
- Carpets or Floor Mats
- Suitable for places requiring warmth and comfort, such as bedrooms or rest areas. Carpets enhance foot comfort but require regular cleaning to prevent dust accumulation and mold growth in humid environments.
- Eco-Friendly Lawns
- Artificial or eco-friendly lawns can be used to enhance greening effects and comfort, suitable for leisure areas or children's play areas. They are easy to lay but require regular cleaning of debris to maintain cleanliness.
- Epoxy Floor Paint
- Suitable for dormitories or office areas with high aesthetic and cleanliness requirements. It is wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and available in various colors, but its construction is complex and difficult to repair, requiring professional team operation.
- Rubber Flooring
- With good elasticity, shock absorption, noise reduction, and slip resistance, rubber flooring is suitable for areas with frequent personnel activities, such as gyms and children's playrooms. It has strong weather resistance but is relatively expensive and requires regular maintenance.
- PVC Flooring
- With rich patterns, easy installation, and waterproof and easy-to-clean properties, PVC flooring is suitable for dormitories focusing on decoration and quick installation. However, its strength is limited, and it is susceptible to damage from heavy objects, requiring protection from sharp objects.
II. Construction and Maintenance Considerations
- Climatic Conditions: When selecting materials, consider local humidity, temperature, and other climatic factors. For example, in humid areas, moisture-absorbent wooden flooring should be avoided, and plastic or rubber materials should be chosen instead.
- Substrate Preparation: Before construction, ensure that the ground substrate is flat and dry to prevent floor cracking or hollowing due to substrate issues.
- Regular Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and maintenance according to the material characteristics. For example, concrete floors require regular waxing for dust prevention, wooden floors require moisture-proof and insect-proof treatment, and carpets require vacuuming and mite removal.
- Regulatory Requirements: According to the "Temporary Building Floor Laying Specification" (GB/T 50378-2019), floors must meet basic requirements such as fire resistance, slip resistance, and wear resistance to ensure usage safety.
