Container House Hook Specification

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Currently, there is no unified specification specifically targeting container house hooks, but the use of hooks should be comprehensively considered in combination with the characteristics and safety requirements of container houses.

Load-bearing Capacity and Adaptability of Hooks

The load-bearing capacity of hooks is a key indicator. Although container houses are mainly composed of metal components, the internal loads vary significantly depending on their different uses. If hooks are used to hang heavy objects, such as large decorations or equipment, it is necessary to ensure that the load-bearing capacity of the hooks far exceeds the weight of the hung items. Generally, it is recommended that the rated load-bearing capacity of hooks be 2 - 3 times the weight of the actually hung items to prevent items from falling due to hook breakage, which could pose safety hazards. At the same time, the size and shape of hooks should be compatible with the structure and internal space of container houses to avoid affecting the normal use and aesthetics of container houses due to oversized or irregularly shaped hooks.

Installation Location and Fixing Method

The installation location of hooks should be carefully selected. It is important to avoid the main load-bearing structures and key components of container houses, such as corner fittings and columns, to prevent affecting the structural strength and stability of the houses. Hooks should be installed on sturdy and flat walls. For the metal walls of container houses, welding or bolt fixing methods can be used. If bolt fixing is adopted, it is necessary to ensure that the specifications and quantity of bolts meet the fixing requirements of the hooks, and the bolts should be tightened to prevent loosening. For walls made of some special materials, such as insulation panel walls, it may be necessary to install a reinforcing plate first and then fix the hooks on the reinforcing plate to ensure the firmness of the hooks.

Fire Prevention and Corrosion Resistance Requirements

Due to the metal material of container houses and the possible presence of electrical wiring, fire prevention is an important consideration. Hooks should be made of non-combustible or difficult-to-burn materials, such as stainless steel hooks. At the same time, the installation location of hooks should be kept away from fire sources and heat sources, such as kitchen stoves and heating equipment. In addition, container houses are mostly located in outdoor environments and are susceptible to erosion from rainwater and humid air. Hooks should have good corrosion resistance. For metal hooks, corrosion prevention treatment processes such as galvanizing and painting can be adopted to extend the service life of the hooks.
