Container House Factory Installation

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The installation process at a container house factory typically includes steps such as foundation preparation, main body assembly, and installation and commissioning of internal facilities, with variations in installation efficiency and complexity among different types of container houses.

Foundation Preparation: Before installing a container house, it is necessary to ensure that the ground is level. In some scenarios, such as engineering camps, traditional foundations may not be required. Instead, the bottom frame can be installed directly on a level surface. The bottom corners of the container are connected to the bottom beams using hexagon socket bolts. After adjusting the diagonal difference of the bottom frame to be ≤3mm, the bolts are tightened. Then, secondary beams are installed, and the floor base plates are laid and fixed, providing a stable foundation for subsequent main body assembly.

Main Body Assembly: Different assembly methods are used depending on the type of container house. A standard container house takes 3 hours to install a single unit, with limited layout adjustments. Quick-assembly containers, such as those from Zhongnan in Suzhou, support on-demand assembly and combination. A single unit can be installed in just 2 hours, and 10 standard dormitory units can be erected in one day. Foldable container houses are even quicker to install. With professional operation, a single container house can be installed in about 3 minutes. First, the main frame is lifted, unfolded, and supported with rods. Then, the walls are pushed open and fixed with fastening screws. Finally, the unit is lifted to the predetermined location and placed down.

Installation and Commissioning of Internal Facilities: Some container houses have their interiors and facilities pre-installed at the factory and can be put into use immediately after on-site hoisting, such as the packing-box units from Zhongnan in Suzhou. Others require on-site installation of utilities, doors, windows, ceilings, floors, etc. When installing the floor, a chalk line is snapped according to the centerline of the π-shaped beams, and nails are driven at intervals of 300 - 350mm. After the entire floor is sanded, a special floor adhesive is applied, and the floor covering is laid, with air expelled. If possible, the joints of the floor covering are welded to ensure that all internal facilities are complete and functioning properly.
