Export Routes for Container Houses

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Export routes for container houses mainly include direct export, entrepot trade export, and export to the Russian market via the China-Russia logistics corridor, among others.

Direct Export: This is the primary route for exporting container houses. After completing standardized, modular, and universal production in factories, enterprises directly transport the products to target market countries via sea, rail, or road transport. For example, enterprises in Guangdong export modular buildings to over 150 countries and regions worldwide through the Shenzhen port; Changshu Yashi Modular Building Co., Ltd. exports container houses to countries and regions such as the Maldives, New Zealand, and Switzerland. During the direct export process, enterprises need to pay attention to the import policies, technical standards, and certification requirements of the target markets to ensure that the products comply with local regulations and market demands.

Entrepot Trade Export: For markets facing high tariffs or trade barriers, enterprises can choose to export container houses through entrepot trade. For instance, when exporting prefabricated steel structure houses to the United States, Chinese enterprises face a 25% tariff pressure. They can first export the products to Southeast Asian countries (such as Malaysia, Vietnam, or Thailand), conduct container switching operations in local bonded areas, and obtain third-country certificates of origin, enabling the products to legally acquire the origin status of Southeast Asian countries before being exported to the U.S. market.

Export to the Russian Market via the China-Russia Logistics Corridor: With the commissioning of China-Russia railway hubs and the facilitation of cross-border logistics, container houses and modular prefabricated buildings have become popular choices in the Russian market. Enterprises can utilize multifunctional railway hubs such as the Manzhouli Railway Port and the Blagoveshchensk Land Port to quickly and efficiently transport container houses to the Russian market, meeting the growing local demand.
