Container House Embedded Bolt

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Container house embedded bolts are important connecting components used to fix container houses to their foundations. They are typically made of high-strength steel and ensure the structural stability of the house through pre-embedding.

I. Types and Characteristics of Embedded Bolts

Commonly used embedded bolts for container houses include 7-shaped and 9-shaped anchor bolts and L-shaped umbrella-handle bolts, mostly made of Q235 carbon steel or high-strength alloy steel. Their characteristics include:

  1. High Strength and Durability: Bolts need to bear the weight of container houses and dynamic loads (such as wind and earthquakes), so they must have high tensile strength and fatigue resistance. For example, the load-bearing capacity of Q345B steel is five times that of concrete, while its self-weight is only one-third of that of concrete.
  2. Corrosion Protection: Embedded bolts are usually hot-dip galvanized to prevent rusting during ocean transportation or in humid environments, thereby extending their service life.
  3. Precise Positioning Requirements: The deviation in bolt pre-embedding must be controlled at the millimeter level; otherwise, it may lead to tilted installation or structural cracking of the container house. For example, in high-rise steel structures, a single bolt can be up to 770mm long, and its insertion depth must be precise to the millimeter.

II. Construction Points for Embedded Bolts

  1. Fixing System Design:
Standard detachable steel connecting components (such as bolt positioning fixtures, horizontal internal supports, and bottom adjustment components) are used to ensure that the bolts do not deform or shift during concrete pouring. For example, a project in Xinxiang City solved the positioning problem caused by the suspended lower end of the bolts by developing a dedicated pre-embedding system.
  2. Waterproofing and Sealing:
In scenarios with waterproofing requirements, such as basements, embedded bolts need to be used in conjunction with waterstop steel plates to prevent water leakage. In this case, the bolts are usually disposable and cannot be reused.
  3. Advantages of Modular Installation:
Export container houses mostly adopt a bolted component structure, eliminating the need for on-site welding, which complies with overseas hot work control policies and reduces labor costs. The bolted connection structure is easy to disassemble and assemble, making it suitable for scenarios requiring multiple relocations, such as mining camps.

III. Application Scenarios and Cases

  1. High-rise Steel Structure Buildings:
For example, a 26-story steel structure residential building in Xinxiang City achieved precise connection between steel columns and foundations by pre-embedding 916 M24 anchor bolts, ensuring structural stability at a building height of 77.35 meters.
  2. Export Integrated Houses:
Overseas projects prioritize the use of bolted component structures. Components are disassembled and packed for transportation, improving container utilization and enabling efficient on-site assembly. For example, Lamp Metal Prefabricated Container Houses achieve rapid deployment and flexible layout through bolted connections.
  3. Extreme Environment Adaptability:
Modern container mobile houses use reinforced anchor bolts in conjunction with pre-embedded anchors to withstand typhoons of up to Category 12 and bear loads of up to 3000kg/m², making them suitable for industrial and temporary infrastructure applications.
