The door frame sizes of container houses vary depending on the type of container and its intended design use, with common standard size ranges being 800-2340mm in width and 2000-2284mm in height. They can be specifically categorized as follows:

1. 20-foot Standard Containers
The net opening size of the front door of internationally standardized 20-foot dry cargo containers is 2198mm in height and 2168mm in width (including the frame). This size takes into account engineering requirements such as structural load-bearing, lifting clearance, and sealing edges, serving as a core parameter to ensure forklift passage and efficient cargo handling. The actual net width of the door frame may be reduced to approximately 2340mm due to the container body structure, so attention should be paid to matching the width of the cargo with the door frame.

2. 40-foot Standard Containers
The door frame size of a 40-foot general-purpose container (40GP) is 2035mm in width and 2284mm in height, while the door frame height of a 40-foot high-cube container (40HC) may be adjusted accordingly due to its increased internal height. These types of containers are mostly used for storage or office purposes, and the door frame sizes need to meet the requirements for handling large items.

3. Specialized Doors for Container Houses

• Single Doors: The standard size is 800mm in width and 2000mm in height, suitable for single-person access or the handling of ordinary cargo.
• Double Doors: The standard size is 1600mm in width and 2000mm in height, commonly found in office or storage-type container houses, facilitating the handling of large items.
• Custom-made Doors: Sizes can be customized to be taller or wider according to needs. For example, PVC folding doors suitable for retrofitted spaces can have a maximum expanded height of 2200mm and a width of 2180mm.

4. Non-standard Customized Containers
When professionally customizing container mobile homes, the door frame sizes can be flexibly adjusted. For example, widths can be selected as 2.5m/2.55m/3m/4m, and heights can be selected as 2.6m/2.7m/2.8m/2.9m. Special door and window positions and partitions can also be designed as required.
