Container House Design Drawings

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Inspiration for container house design drawings can be obtained from multiple design cases and design agencies. Common designs include minimalist style, modular combination, and creative shapes, etc. Specific designs need to be combined with functional requirements, space utilization, and personalized aesthetics.

I. Minimalist Style Container House Design

The exterior of the container is painted with black smooth paint, paired with a natural wood interior, creating a visual impact through a sharp color contrast. A large metal staircase is installed beside the house, with railings on both sides for safety, and bright green decorative strips are added to clearly indicate the direction in the dark. The roof is designed with a large terrace to provide space for leisure and entertainment. A small wooden deck terrace extends from the entrance of the house, paired with a highly transparent glass door, and the roof eaves prevent wind and rain from entering. Inside, natural wood furniture and white home decor are used. The bathroom is paved with blue gradient tiles, combining aesthetics with waterproof and moisture-proof functions. A suspended marble sink enhances durability and ease of cleaning.

II. Modular Combination Container House Design

Multiple containers are stacked vertically or spliced in an offset manner to form functional zones. For example, a small guesthouse uses four 6-meter-long containers in a two-story layout: the ground floor houses sanitary facilities, a technical room, a storage room, and a four-bed guest room, while the upper floor has four guest rooms sharing a terrace. All rooms are connected to the surrounding landscape through small round windows. Inside, custom furniture made of birch plywood is used, combined with natural linoleum and black industrial lighting to distinguish spaces. Another case uses six containers to build a modular residence, with each container serving as a standard space unit. Through combination, various functional zones are formed to meet the concepts of green, healthy, and low-carbon living.

III. Creative Shape Container House Design

Breaking away from the rectangular structure of standard containers, unique shapes are created through cutting, splicing, and extending. For example, one residence arranges containers along a mountain slope, using the convection principle to maintain air circulation. Another case paints the containers bright white and extends them in all directions in a starburst style to maximize the landscape view and natural lighting. There is also a design that cuts circular holes in the top of the containers to allow trees to grow freely, enhancing the interaction between the building and nature.
