Container House Decoration Dimensions
Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026
The decoration dimensions of container houses need to be comprehensively determined based on their intended use, transportation conditions, and spatial requirements. The following are common specifications and decoration key points:

I. Common Standard Dimensions
- Domestic General Specifications: With a length of 6 meters, a width of 3 meters, and a height of 2.8 - 2.9 meters, the internal clear height is approximately 2.6 meters, and the expanded area is about 18 square meters. This size is suitable for scenarios such as construction site offices and temporary residences. It can accommodate a double bed, a simple desk, and a standing wardrobe, offering high space utilization and easy lifting and transportation.
- International Shipping Standards: Export-type container houses are 6 meters long, 2.4 meters wide, and 2.9 meters high, complying with international transportation regulations and suitable for cross-border projects.
- Modular Combinations: By splicing standard 20-foot (6×2.4×2.6 meters) or 40-foot (12×2.4×2.9 meters) containers, multi-functional spaces such as conference rooms and dormitories can be created.
II. Non-standard Custom Dimensions
- Width Options: 2.5 meters, 2.55 meters, 3 meters, 4 meters, etc., which need to be adjusted according to site constraints and functional requirements. For example, a 3-meter width is preferred for narrow construction passages to avoid transportation obstructions.
- Height Options: 2.6 - 2.9 meters, with high-cube containers (such as 40HQ) reaching up to 2.89 meters, meeting the requirements of exhibition halls or scenarios with special ceiling height needs.
- Length Options: 3 meters, 6 meters, 8 meters, 12 meters, etc. For long containers, attention should be paid to structural stability and transportation compliance.
III. Key Decoration Dimension Parameters
- Door and Window Configurations:
- Doors: The standard size of a single door is 800×2000 millimeters, and that of a double door is 1600×2000 millimeters. Custom-made doors can be produced as required.
- Windows: The standard window size is 1200×900 millimeters. Casement windows use aluminum alloy tempered coated hollow glass, balancing daylighting and heat insulation.
- Internal Layout:
- Beds: In an 18-square-meter space, 6 bunk beds can be arranged to accommodate 8 people.
- Circulation Path: The internal circulation path in a 3×6-meter specification is smooth, avoiding narrow passages that affect usage efficiency.
- Maintenance and Ventilation: Maintenance access holes and exhaust vents are reserved on the top, and silent air exchangers can be installed to solve the problem of stuffiness.
IV. Impact of Materials and Structures on Dimension Selection
- Wall Thickness: Double-layer color steel plates with rock wool (75 - 100 millimeters) or glass wool sandwich panels require reserved installation space.
- Floor System: The thickness of the floor system affects the clear height, and the floor material should be selected according to the function (such as moisture-proof and wear-resistant types).
- Load-bearing Structure: The thickness of the galvanized main beam (such as 3.0 millimeters) and the roof material (0.45-millimeter galvanized color steel plate) determine long-term stability.
