Container House Consignment Cost

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

The consignment cost of container houses is influenced by multiple factors, making the calculation relatively complex. It mainly includes basic freight charges, loading and unloading fees, transportation vehicle selection costs, insurance premiums, and fees for special circumstances, among others.

Basic Freight Charges: This is the main component of the consignment cost and primarily depends on the transportation distance. It is usually calculated by multiplying the unit price per kilometer by the transportation mileage. For example, if the unit price per kilometer is 5 yuan, the basic freight charge for transportation to a location 100 kilometers away would be 5 × 100 = 500 yuan; for transportation to a location 500 kilometers away, the basic freight charge would be 5 × 500 = 2500 yuan. The longer the transportation distance, the higher the basic freight charge.

Loading and Unloading Fees: During the loading and unloading processes, manual labor is required to hoist the container house onto the transportation vehicle. These fees vary depending on the regional labor costs and are also closely related to the weight and size of the container house. For instance, for a small container house, the loading and unloading fees might be 500 yuan each time; for a large container house, the fees could reach 1000 yuan each time.

Transportation Vehicle Selection Costs: Different transportation vehicles have varying transportation costs. Ordinary trucks have relatively lower transportation costs but may be limited by their carrying capacity. If specialized large transportation vehicles, such as flatbed trucks, are chosen, although the costs are higher, they can transport larger or a greater number of container houses. For example, an ordinary truck might charge 1000 yuan for transporting a small container house once, while a flatbed truck might charge 1500 yuan for the same.

Insurance Premiums: To prevent accidental damage during transportation, cargo transportation insurance is generally purchased. Insurance premiums are charged based on a certain percentage of the value of the container house. Assuming the value of the container house is 100,000 yuan and the insurance rate is 0.5%, the insurance premium would be 100,000 × 0.5% = 500 yuan.

Fees for Special Circumstances: If the transportation route has complex road conditions and requires passing through special sections, such as bridges with weight limits, additional fees may be incurred. These fees vary depending on the specific situation and are difficult to accurately estimate in advance.
