Container House Configuration Drawing

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Currently, there are no directly available container house configuration drawings, but planning can be carried out based on relevant cases and design points.

Common Container House Configuration Design Cases

  • Residential Design Case: There is a villa residence composed of four 30-square-meter high containers, with two on the ground floor and two on the upper floor, staggered with each other. The second floor has two terraces staggered front and back, with a total area of 120 square meters. The ground floor includes various functional spaces such as a living room, kitchen, and washroom; the upper floor includes functional spaces such as guest rooms and a studio. There is also a modular residence built with six containers, which includes three bedrooms, a storage room, and other functional spaces inside, with a three-sided enclosed courtyard formed at the entrance.
  • Small B&B Hotel Case: Composed of four 6-meter-long containers, with two on the lower level and two on the upper level. The lower level is equipped with various spaces such as sanitary facilities; the upper level has four guest rooms sharing the same terrace.
  • Multi-functional Artistic Apartment + Studio Case: Transform containers to create living and studio spaces with an artistic sense.

Key Points of Container House Configuration Design

  • Spatial Combination: According to international standards, a 20-foot container can bear a load of 25T, and a 40-foot container can bear a load of 45T. Due to the relatively cramped usable net space, low indoor height, and narrow and long horizontal space of standard container sizes, adaptive combination designs of container bodies are usually carried out during transformation. By combining container bodies, more types of buildings can be shaped, creating unique artistic qualities, ranging from small single-container buildings to large combined buildings.
  • Functional Planning: Plan functional spaces according to actual needs, such as planning bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms for residences; and planning guest rooms and public activity areas for B&B hotels. As in the above cases, some create a flowing layout for the guest, dining, and kitchen areas without partitions, allowing the areas to blend with each other.
  • Supporting Facilities: Consider the layout of water and electricity, structural reinforcement, etc. Container houses built in some areas with inconvenient transportation are also equipped with thermal insulation materials, solar photovoltaic power generation systems, rainwater collection systems, septic tank systems, etc., to meet the comfort and convenience of living.
