Container House C30

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

C30 is not a standard term commonly used in the field of container houses and has no direct corresponding meaning in this context. It is speculated that it may be confused with the concrete strength grade. The following introduces the key points related to container houses themselves:

I. Types of Container Houses

  1. By Structural Source and Construction Method
    • Custom Fixed Box Modules: Newly built according to ISO modulus. Some use thinner plates or material substitutions. Corner fittings can be arranged in a non-standard way, with a higher degree of factory production.
    • Variable Box Modules: The wall panels can be flipped, pulled out, or rotated, such as expandable shops and display boxes, which are generally used independently on a single floor.
    • By Box Body Forming Process: There are integral welded types (dry box type), light steel keel types, plug-in types, folding types, and fixed types.
  2. By Spatial Combination Form
    • Single Box on the Ground: Suitable for small places such as kiosks, sentry boxes, and temporary dormitories.
    • Horizontal Box Assembly: Horizontally connected to form larger spaces such as conference rooms, exhibition halls, and B&B lobbies.
    • Vertical Box Stacking: Can be built into 6-story dormitories, hotels, etc., relying on corner fittings for vertical force transmission.
    • Staggered, Overhanging, L-shaped, and U-shaped Enclosures: Used for characteristic buildings such as online celebrity B&Bs and cafes. Overhanging parts require diagonal bracing, and no holes are allowed in the overhanging sections.
  3. By Functional Use: Divided into accommodation types, office types, commercial service types, sanitary types, and special types (medical boxes, equipment boxes, laboratory boxes, explosion-proof boxes, refrigerated boxes), etc.
  4. By Material and Mobility
    • Material: Steel is the most commonly used. Aluminum alloy is light but expensive, and there are also composite sandwich panel boxes.
    • Mobility: There are fixed types (hoisted), towed mobile types, and folding transfer types.

II. Core Points of the Technical Regulations for Container Houses

  1. Scope of Application and Basic Bottom Lines: Applicable to low-rise and multi-story modular combined houses, with a number of floors ≤ 6, height ≤ 24m, and seismic fortification intensity ≤ 8 degrees. The design service life is 50 years (≥1.0) or 25 years (≥0.95). The existing boxes must be GB/T12418 inspected and qualified boxes, with no defects in beams and columns, and all 8 corner fittings intact and reliable, accompanied by quality certificates upon arrival at the site.
  2. Structural Force and Construction: The pure steel frame bears the force, and the corner fittings are the only stacking force transmission points. The box body steel uses welded weathering steel (GB/T 4171), and non-box body components use Q235B/Q345B (GB/T 700, GB/T 1591). When opening large holes weakens the stiffness, it is advisable to arrange the box with holes and the box without holes in a staggered and symmetrical manner. The overhanging length should not be too large, and no holes are allowed in the overhanging sections. The lateral force-resisting members should be symmetrical in the plane and have uniform vertical stiffness. For multi-story stacked boxes, the corner fittings - corner columns must be aligned and locked up and down.
  3. Fire Protection and Corrosion Prevention: The enclosure filling prohibits the use of flammable core materials such as EPS. For crowded places, Class A rock wool/glass wool should be used, and the fire resistance limit should be controlled according to GB50016. Steel structure fireproof coatings, floor fire separations, escape routes (net width ≥ 0.9m), fire extinguishers/smoke detectors/emergency lighting should be configured according to public building standards.
