Container House Assembly Process

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

The assembly process of container houses generally includes steps such as foundation preparation, main frame installation, wall and roof panel installation, door, window and electrical system installation. The specific process varies slightly depending on the type of house (e.g., foldable, packing-box units, assembled, etc.).

1. Foundation Preparation

Before assembly, ensure that the foundation is level and solid. Usually, foundation leveling or concrete foundation pouring is required. For example, when installing a foldable container mobile home, check the stability of the wire ropes to ensure safe hoisting. For packing-box unit installation, the foundation bearing capacity must meet the design requirements to avoid later settlement.

2. Main Frame Installation

  1. Hoisting and Unfolding: Use a crane to hoist the main frame to the predetermined position and unfold it steadily, then fix the support rods. For example, a foldable container requires support rods to be placed in the middle of the box to maintain stability. An assembled container requires assembling steel beams and square tube columns first, fastening them with screws and checking the perpendicularity.
  2. Frame Connection: For welded-structure containers (such as packing-box units), connect the frames pressed from special-shaped steel plates with bolts or welding to ensure structural strength. Some designs adopt modular frames that support multi-story stacking or horizontal expansion.

3. Wall and Roof Panel Installation

  1. Wall Panel Fixation: Install prefabricated wall panels (such as rock wool sandwich panels and glass wool panels) according to the design positions, reserving openings for doors and windows. For example, the side panels of packing-box units are filled with soundproof and thermal insulation materials, and the wall panels must be tightly connected to the frames during installation.
  2. Roof Panel Covering: After installing the top panels, perform waterproofing treatment, such as applying glass curtain wall waterproof glue to prevent leakage. Some designs adopt thermal insulation top frames to improve thermal insulation performance.

4. Door, Window and Electrical System Installation

  1. Door and Window Installation: After fixing the door and window frames, perform sealing treatment to ensure there are no gaps. For example, a foldable container requires using fastening screws to fix the walls with doors and windows. A packing-box unit requires the windows to be tightly sealed and the doors to be straight.
  2. Electrical System: Pre-install wires, switches, sockets and lighting fixtures, and reserve positions for air conditioner holes. For example, a residential container requires laying building templates on the chassis and then installing floor leather before arranging the electrical wiring.

5. Inspection and Adjustment

After assembly, check the structural stability, door and window sealing and electrical safety to ensure compliance with design specifications. For example, an assembled container requires using a plumb line to adjust the perpendicularity of the steel beams, and a packing-box unit requires testing the floor bearing capacity and stair firmness.
