Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

The area of container houses varies depending on their size and specifications. Common areas include 9 square meters, 18 square meters, 21 square meters, etc. The area of specially customized or combined container houses can be even larger.

I. Common Standard Sizes and Areas

  1. Small Container House: With dimensions of 3 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, its area is approximately 9 square meters. This size is relatively small and is commonly used for construction site guard rooms, small warehouses, etc. It can accommodate about 2 people for living.

  2. Standard Container House: With dimensions of 6 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, its area is approximately 18 square meters. This is a commonly seen standard-sized container house on the market, widely used in construction sites, road construction, etc. It can serve as a worker dormitory, accommodating about 10 people, or be transformed into a toilet or kitchen.

  3. Slightly Larger Container House: With dimensions of 7 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, its area is approximately 21 square meters. Most of them are used as two-story container mobile homes, equipped with corridors and balconies. On construction sites, the dormitories on the second floor of two-story container mobile homes are of this type.

II. Special Specifications and Combined Areas

  1. Special-Specification Container Houses: For example, a 10-foot container house has dimensions of 2.994 meters in length, 2.438 meters in width, and 2.591 meters in height, with a living area of 7.5 square meters, suitable for single rooms, offices, or kitchens. A 20-foot container house has dimensions of 6.058 meters in length, 2.438 meters in width, and 2.591 meters in height, with a living area of 14.2 square meters, ideal for single individuals or couples. A 40-foot container house has dimensions of 12.192 meters in length, 2.438 meters in width, and 2.591 meters in height, with a living area of 28.5 square meters, making it a relatively ideal residential choice for small families.

  2. Combined Container Houses: By combining and splicing multiple containers, larger-area houses can be formed. For example, stacking 15 containers together can create a multi-story residence with an area of up to 464.5 square meters.
