Container Design Mobile House

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Container design mobile houses are mobile living or office units formed by transforming standard containers. They have characteristics such as a sturdy structure, convenient transportation, and recyclability, making them suitable for various scenarios.

Structure and Types

Container mobile houses are based on standard shipping containers, with common sizes of 20 feet and 40 feet. They can expand their space through single-container use or multi-container splicing. According to their structure and purpose, they can be divided into four categories:

  • Container-style: Directly transform standard containers, with a sturdy structure, suitable for construction site command centers, project departments, etc.
  • Foldable: Adopt a foldable design, compress the volume during transportation, and have a short unfolding time, suitable for scenarios such as exploration teams and temporary command posts that require frequent relocation.
  • Assembled: Combine light steel keels with color steel plates for on-site modular assembly, allowing flexible expansion, suitable for temporary offices in parks and event planning sites.
  • Expandable: Add side or end expansion cabins on the basis of containers, increasing the usable area by 30%-50%, suitable for long-term on-site offices.

Performance Advantages

  • Structural Stability: With a full steel structure frame, they can withstand wind speeds of up to 12 levels and earthquakes of up to 8 levels. They have a low deformation rate under extreme working conditions and high safety.
  • Installation Efficiency: The unfolding time of foldable houses can be controlled within 30 minutes, and assembled houses can be flexibly expanded according to needs for rapid deployment.
  • Reusability: They support multiple disassembly and reassembly cycles, with an average of more than 8 disassembly and reassembly cycles. The amount of construction waste is reduced by about 90%, and resource utilization is high.
  • Low-carbon Attributes: They use environmentally friendly materials such as solar panels and rainwater collection systems, reducing their impact on the environment and complying with green construction policy guidelines.

Application Scenarios

Container mobile houses have been widely used in engineering camps, cultural and tourism B&Bs, emergency support, commercial pop-ups, and other fields. For example, in emergency rescue scenarios, foldable containers can be quickly transported, reducing transportation and storage costs; in cultural and tourism projects, unique living experiences can be created through personalized exterior customization and internal functional transformation.
