Container Cabin House Design Drawing

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

Currently, there are no directly available design drawings for container cabin houses, but design ideas and key points can be provided based on relevant design information.

I. Interior decoration plans for container houses with different purposes The interior decoration of container houses from Zhongye Zhichuang supports multiple plans. For simple styles like construction site dormitories, wall panels can be laid on the walls. These wall panels are durable and easy to clean, meeting the basic usage needs of construction site dormitories. At the same time, switches and sockets should be fully equipped to facilitate workers' use of electrical equipment. For high-end homestay-style container houses, ceiling treatments can be carried out to enhance the sense of spatial hierarchy and aesthetics; wooden floors can be laid to increase a sense of warmth; an integrated bathroom design can be implemented, with reasonable planning of washing, toilet, and shower areas, and reserved positions for air conditioners and hot water equipment to ensure comfortable living.

II. Bedroom layout design Some luxury container houses adopt a three-bedroom design, which can meet the needs of multiple people living or family living. When designing, it is necessary to reasonably plan the space size of each bedroom to ensure sufficient activity space and storage space. At the same time, the sound insulation effect between bedrooms should be considered, which can be achieved by using sound insulation materials or optimizing the structural design to ensure living privacy.

III. Environmentally friendly and distinctive designs The "Floating House" container residence is built using recycled shipping containers, which has environmental significance. The entire structure is elevated above the natural ground level and surrounded by native trees, creating a unique natural atmosphere. The interior walls and ceilings mainly use recycled wood from demolition, which not only reflects the concept of environmental protection but also adds a natural texture. Roof greening and rainwater harvesting can effectively improve the ecological environment and save water resources. There are two wooden platform terraces supported by metal columns. The V-shaped support system reduces the amount of concrete used and the foundation area, ensuring structural stability while reflecting design innovation. The interior doors on the first floor are made from the recycled steel plates left over from cutting the containers, achieving resource reuse.

IV. Design of a container house self-built by a couple A couple built a house using two scrapped containers. They spaced the containers apart and built the gap in between with wooden planks, assembling wooden frames and fixing them on both sides. This design increases the usable area and spatial sense of hierarchy of the house. The floor is paved with wooden planks, giving a warm and comfortable feeling. The door frame is installed, and the top gap frame is completed. The roof is sealed with OSB (oriented strand board) and then covered with waterproof tarpaulin. The wooden strip frame is fixed, and aluminum corrugated tiles are installed. The roofs of the containers on both sides are treated in the same way, effectively solving the roof waterproofing problem. Sufficient windows are reserved in each area to ensure indoor lighting and ventilation.
