Cooling of Container Board Houses

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Cooling of container board houses can be achieved through measures such as selecting thermal insulation materials, optimizing structural design, applying cooling coatings and films, and increasing ventilation and shading facilities. Details are as follows:

1. Selecting High-Efficiency Thermal Insulation Materials The thermal insulation performance of container board houses primarily depends on wall materials. Common solutions include:

  • Polyurethane Foam Layer: Filling with more than 50mm of polyurethane foam material in the middle can block heat conduction. Combined with an outer layer of anti-corrosion color-coated steel plate to reflect sunlight and an inner layer of fire-resistant gypsum board to control humidity and stabilize temperature, a three-layer thermal insulation structure is formed.
  • Rock Wool Sandwich Panels: Rock wool has good thermal insulation properties, and combining it with color-coated steel plates can enhance the wall's thermal insulation performance.
  • Polystyrene Foam Composite Panels: Black steel plates embedded with polystyrene foam are processed into new building materials with significant thermal insulation effects.

2. Optimizing Structural Design

  • Increasing Foam Thickness: Appropriately thickening the polyurethane or polystyrene foam layer during construction can enhance thermal insulation and reduce indoor temperature fluctuations.
  • Double-Layer Wall Structure: Using double-layer container stacking or sandwich panel design to form an air layer in the middle, utilizing the principle of air thermal insulation to reduce heat transfer.

3. Applying Cooling Coatings and Films

  • High-Reflectivity Coatings: Applied to roofs or exterior walls, these coatings achieve a 97% reflectivity of sunlight and atmospheric window emissivity through a bionic skin fold structure, significantly reducing surface temperature.
  • Thermal Insulation Films: Adhering thermal insulation films to glass or wall surfaces reduces solar radiation heat entering the interior while maintaining light transmittance.

4. Increasing Ventilation and Shading Facilities

  • Adjustable Shading Canopies: Installing shading panels or blinds on the roof blocks direct sunlight and reduces roof temperature.
  • Bottom Ventilation Slots: Setting ventilation openings at the bottom of containers promotes air circulation, forming natural convection to carry away indoor hot air.
  • Sloped Roof and Wide Window Design: Adopting a sloped roof to increase lighting area, combined with wide window design, optimizes indoor ventilation and reduces stuffiness.

5. Auxiliary Cooling Measures

  • Combining Air Conditioners and Fans: Using air conditioners on the basis of thermal insulation can reduce energy consumption and achieve rapid cooling; fans can assist air circulation and enhance comfort.
  • Application of Thermal Storage Materials: Using phase change materials in walls or floors to absorb heat during the day and release it at night, balancing indoor temperature.
