Simple Portable Toilet for Construction Sites
Admin 23 de septiembre de 2026
For simple portable toilets at construction sites, you can refer to the following production methods and type selection options:

I. Production Plan Using Modified Water Storage Tanks
- Basic Frame Construction
Select a high-strength trailer as the bottom support structure. Weld or bolt caster wheels at the four corners of the trailer to ensure mobility. The trailer must have sufficient load-bearing capacity to support the weight of the water storage tank and internal facilities. - Water Storage Tank Processing and Assembly
Recycle plastic water storage tanks with a diameter of 80-100 cm. After cleaning and disinfecting, cut an opening at the top as an operating space. Stack two tanks vertically and use self-tapping screws to penetrate the tank walls and fix them, forming a double-layer structure. A drainage hole must be reserved at the bottom of the upper tank, aligned with the top opening of the lower tank to form a natural drainage channel. - Functional Module Installation
- Entrance Design: Cut a rectangular opening 60 cm long and 180 cm high on the side of the upper tank as a doorway. Polish the edges smoothly to prevent scratches.
- Excretion System: Cut a drainage hole with a diameter of 10 cm on the internal floor of the tank and install an odor-proof floor drain. Connect a PVC drainage pipe to the lower tank. Place a finished portable toilet inside the upper tank, and connect the water tank to a showerhead via a hose for flushing.
- Washing Module: Cut a circular hole with a diameter of 30 cm on the side of the tank and embed a stainless steel sink. Fix a small water storage bucket below as a water source. Select a water-saving faucet design and control the water flow with a foot pedal switch.
- Sealing and Protection
Use waterproof glue to seal all cut edges and pipe connections to prevent leakage. Spray anti-rust paint on the exterior of the tank and lay anti-slip floor rubber inside to enhance safety. The door is made of wood and hinges and equipped with a lock for privacy.
II. Type Selection for Simple Toilets at Construction Sites
- Single Toilet
Suitable for small-scale construction sites or temporary needs, with a compact structure and easy mobility, but limited in capacity. - Double/Triple Toilet
Achieve functional expansion through modular assembly, allowing for separate male and female usage areas and improving efficiency. - Quadruple Toilet
Equipped with independent sinks, management rooms, and other facilities, suitable for large-scale construction sites or long-term usage scenarios, requiring sufficient installation space.
III. Key Considerations
- Material Selection: Prioritize the use of corrosion-resistant and rust-proof materials, such as stainless steel and PVC pipes, to extend service life.
- Drainage Design: Ensure a drainage slope of ≥2% to avoid water accumulation; regularly clean the sediment in the lower tank to prevent blockages.
- Ventilation Optimization: Install an exhaust fan or reserve ventilation openings at the top of the tank to reduce odor accumulation.
- Compliance Check: Before production, confirm local environmental protection and hygiene standards to avoid rectifications due to design flaws.
