Construction Site Mobile Toilet

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

A construction site mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and is set up at construction sites and other locations to provide toilet services for workers and clients.

I. Basic Components A construction site mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, moving device, and other parts. These components work together to achieve the basic functions of the toilet, such as storing and treating fecal sewage, providing toilet space, and ensuring hygiene conditions.

II. Material Development In terms of material usage, construction site mobile toilets have undergone a transition from wood to materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene. Initially, due to technological and material limitations, wood was commonly used for manufacturing. However, wood is prone to decay and has a short service life. With technological advancements, materials like fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene have gradually been applied in the manufacturing of mobile toilets. These materials offer advantages such as corrosion resistance, high strength, and light weight, enabling them to better adapt to the complex environmental conditions at construction sites and extend the service life of the toilets.

III. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets have a relatively simple structure and are suitable for locations with limited space or low requirements for toilet functions. Composite-structure mobile toilets combine multiple functional areas, such as a reasonable layout of the washroom and toilet area, improving space utilization and user convenience.
  2. By moving method: They are classified into lifting/handling mobile toilets and powered/trailer-mounted mobile toilets. Lifting/handling mobile toilets mainly rely on lifting equipment or manual labor for movement and are suitable for locations with low moving frequency. Powered/trailer-mounted mobile toilets are equipped with power devices or trailer devices and can be conveniently towed by vehicles for movement, making them suitable for construction sites that require frequent relocation.
  3. By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile toilets treat fecal sewage through water flushing or suction. Circulating water-flush mobile toilets recycle the treated water to save water resources. Dry-packing mobile toilets pack the feces for treatment without using water, making them suitable for water-scarce areas or construction sites with high environmental protection requirements.
