Standard Equipment for Mobile Toilets at Construction Sites

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

The standard equipment for mobile toilets at construction sites typically includes four core categories: basic sanitary fixtures, auxiliary functional facilities, structural and durability design, and sewage disposal and installation convenience. Details are as follows:

1. Basic Sanitary Fixtures

  • Toilet Systems: Primarily direct-discharge or vacuum toilet systems. Direct-discharge systems require connection to municipal sewage pipes or septic tanks and are suitable for construction sites with sewage disposal conditions. Vacuum toilet systems achieve water conservation through negative pressure suction (approximately 0.5-1 liters per flush) and are suitable for scenarios without sewage networks. Some high-end configurations use ceramic squat or sit toilets with automatic flush sensors to enhance convenience.
  • Sinks: Standard stainless steel or ceramic sinks are equipped with hot and cold water mixing taps. Hot water systems often use electric water heaters (6-10 liters capacity) or instant water heaters to ensure normal use in low-temperature environments.

2. Auxiliary Functional Facilities

  • Lighting and Ventilation: LED moisture-proof lighting (brightness ≥ 300Lux) and powerful exhaust fans (air exchange rate ≥ 40m³/h) are used to ensure sufficient lighting and air circulation, reducing odor accumulation.
  • Flooring and Walls: The floor is laid with slip-resistant, waterproof PVC flooring or epoxy flooring; the walls use integrated fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or high-strength metal panels with sealed joints for easy cleaning and corrosion resistance.
  • Storage and Hooks: Stainless steel hooks, shelves, and toilet paper holders are provided for placing personal items.

3. Structural and Durability Design

  • Main Materials: Mostly use fiberglass reinforced plastic or steel, with waterproof and sun-resistant properties. The internal space is approximately 1.2-1.5 square meters, meeting the needs of single-person use.
  • Door Locks and Privacy: Door panels must be equipped with locks to prevent item loss and ensure user privacy.

4. Sewage Disposal and Installation Convenience

  • Sewage Collection Systems: In the absence of sewage disposal conditions, integrated sewage collection tanks (500-1000 liters capacity) are installed at the bottom, equipped with liquid level alarms to prompt timely emptying. Sewage suction trucks perform regular cleaning to prevent overflow.
  • Installation Flexibility: Integrated design supports rapid disassembly and relocation. Some foldable toilets are suitable for low-lying sites and can be installed in just 1-2 hours, reducing construction costs.

Regional Differences Supplement:

  • Shijiazhuang Construction Sites: The basic model must include sinks, hooks, and storage shelves; heating functions can be added in winter, and models with fans can be chosen in summer. Ventilation design should avoid odor accumulation.
  • Jiangsu Construction Sites: Some high-end products incorporate deodorization systems to meet daily cleaning and regular disinfection standards.

The above configurations can be further adjusted based on the number of workers, project duration, climatic conditions, and budget. For example, vacuum toilet systems are preferred in arid regions, and enhanced insulation measures are necessary in cold regions.
