Connected Mobile Toilet Frame Welding

Admin 28 de septiembre de 2026

The key points of connected mobile toilet frame welding lie in material selection, weld quality requirements, and strict quality inspection.

Frame Material Selection

The frame of a connected mobile toilet is typically composed of welded steel. The base is usually welded using channel steel or I-beams, both of which offer high strength and stability, capable of bearing the weight of the mobile toilet itself as well as any external forces it may encounter, providing a solid foundation for the entire structure. The columns are made of square steel, which has a regular shape, facilitating easy welding and installation, and providing good support to ensure the overall structural stability of the mobile toilet.

Weld Quality Requirements

In scenarios such as tourist attractions, the quality of the welded frame directly determines the wind and pressure resistance of the mobile toilet. The penetration depth of a qualified weld should reach at least 70% of the base material's thickness, meaning that during welding, it is essential to ensure full fusion between the weld and the base material, forming a strong connection to enhance the overall structural strength. Additionally, the weld surface should not have any depressions or protrusions exceeding 0.5mm. A flat weld surface not only improves aesthetics but also reduces stress concentration, lowering the risk of weld cracking. These indicators can be verified during acceptance through ultrasonic testing or magnetic particle inspection. Ultrasonic testing can detect internal defects in the weld, such as porosity and slag inclusions, while magnetic particle inspection is primarily used to detect surface cracks in the weld. By using these two inspection methods, the quality of the weld can be comprehensively evaluated. Manufacturers with strict process control can maintain a weld pass rate of over 98% and record and trace each welding process through the ISO9001 quality system to ensure the traceability and stability of welding quality.

Quality Inspection Content

During the welding quality inspection of mobile toilets, third-party inspection agencies use handheld laser rangefinders and steel tapes to conduct sampling reviews of the building layout, including the distribution of toilet walls, door and window positions and sizes, as well as the axis dimensions and heights of structures, ensuring that the dimensions of the mobile toilet meet design requirements. Inspectors also check for all damage and defects, primarily focusing on ensuring that the main load-bearing components of the mobile toilet do not show significant aging or deformation, that the joints of load-bearing steel components do not exhibit abnormalities, that the connections between steel beams and columns are generally reliable, and that the welds are intact without obvious cracks, ensuring the structural safety of the mobile toilet.
