Availability of Mobile Toilets in Western Sichuan

There are mobile toilets in Western Sichuan. Here are the details:

I. New Mobile Public Toilets in Yuzixi Scenic Area

In June 2026, new mobile public toilets were officially put into use at the Yuzixi Scenic Area, which is located at an altitude of 4,200 meters. These toilets, provided by Zhongyunhui Technology Group, were specially designed for high-altitude and oxygen-deficient environments. They possess strong environmental adaptability and can operate stably under extreme climatic conditions, having run smoothly for over eight months as of the relevant report. These mobile toilets serve more than 2,000 tourists per day on average, effectively alleviating the toilet shortage for tourists in the scenic area and enhancing their travel experience. From a technical perspective, they may employ special insulation and oxygen supply systems to ensure normal operation in low-temperature and low-oxygen environments, and they may also be equipped with efficient sewage treatment equipment to minimize their impact on the surrounding environment.

II. Hengjie Mobile Full-Sanitation Experience Space

During the National Day Golden Week in 2024, Hengjie's first mobile full-sanitation experience space was deployed on the 318 Sichuan-Tibet Highway. The 318 Sichuan-Tibet Highway is an important tourist route in Western Sichuan, boasting beautiful scenery along the way but relatively weak tourism infrastructure. The emergence of Hengjie's mobile full-sanitation experience space provides tourists with high-quality sanitation experiences. It not only offers basic toilet facilities but may also include other sanitation facilities such as showers, meeting the diverse needs of tourists during long-distance travel. This mobile full-sanitation experience space may adopt a modular design for easy transportation and installation, allowing flexible deployment according to the needs of different locations and providing a new model and approach for tourism services in Western Sichuan.

The appearance of mobile toilets in Western Sichuan reflects the continuous improvement of tourism infrastructure, helps enhance the overall quality and image of tourism in the region, and attracts more tourists to come for sightseeing.
