China Railway Tunnel Container House

Admin 14 de septiembre de 2026

Container houses related to China Railway Tunnel are mainly used in scenarios such as temporary living quarters and supporting housing for engineering projects.

1. Application in Temporary Living Quarters
China Railway Tunnel Group once organized the dismantling of a temporary living quarter in Guangzhou used for isolating staff members. This living quarter was composed of container boxes and was equipped with facilities such as washing machines, air conditioners, beds, tables, and chairs. These container houses have the characteristics of rapid construction and flexible mobility, making them suitable for temporary accommodation needs in emergency scenarios. Their structure is based on standard container boxes as units, forming living spaces through modular combination. This not only meets basic living requirements but also facilitates later dismantling and asset recovery.

2. Supporting Housing for Engineering Projects
China Railway Fourth Bureau leased 100 container houses with specifications of 6.055×2.99×2.896 meters for office and living purposes during the construction of the Tongyong High-Speed Railway Suzhou North Depot project. These houses typically adopt steel structure frames and lightweight panels, possessing earthquake resistance and waterproof properties. Moreover, their interiors can be customized with partitions, electrical circuits, and sewage systems to adapt to the complex environment of construction sites. Their reusable nature can reduce long-term costs and align with the trend of construction industrialization.

3. Technical Characteristics and Advantages
Container houses applied within the China Railway system generally use green building materials, meeting low-carbon and environmental protection requirements. For example, the customized container houses provided by Xiangdada Company have a service life of over 40 years. They are internally integrated with facilities such as air conditioners and toilets and can be used immediately upon connecting to an external power source. In addition, some houses are equipped with intelligent monitoring systems that can sense data such as temperature, humidity, and gas concentration in real-time, enhancing safety and management efficiency.

4. Overseas Market Expansion
China Railway has exported container house technology overseas through the Belt and Road Initiative. For example, in projects such as the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway in Indonesia and the China-Laos Railway, modular integrated houses serve as supporting facilities, providing standardized temporary housing solutions for local areas and promoting the internationalization of China's construction industrialization standards.
