Cement Prefabricated House Reinforcement Technology

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

The reinforcement technology for cement prefabricated houses mainly includes foundation reinforcement, floor and roof reinforcement, reinforcement of protruding parts and附属物 (accessories) handling, wall reinforcement, and other reinforcement measures.

Foundation Reinforcement: To address insufficient foundation bearing capacity, methods such as compaction, soil replacement, or piling can be employed. Compaction involves repeatedly rolling the soil layer with heavy machinery to increase soil density. Soil replacement replaces loose soil with high-density materials (such as crushed stone or sand). Piling embeds reinforced concrete piles into weak soil layers to enhance foundation stability.

Floor and Roof Reinforcement: A reinforced concrete layer can be added above the existing prefabricated slabs, connecting the old and new structures through dowel bar technology to form an integrated load-bearing system. Alternatively, a steel mesh can be laid and fine aggregate concrete poured to increase floor stiffness and prevent cracking. For roof reinforcement, thermal insulation and waterproof layers can be added, along with increased reinforcement to improve resistance to deformation.

Reinforcement of Protruding Parts and Accessories Handling: For protruding components such as balconies and canopies, it is necessary to check the firmness of their connections to the main structure. If the connection is loose, chemical dowel bars or additional connectors can be used for reinforcement. Balcony railings can be reinforced by adhering carbon fiber sheets or adding reinforced concrete coping. When the support structure of a canopy is unstable, reinforcement or replacement of the support is required.

Wall Reinforcement: The steel mesh cement mortar facing method can be adopted, where cement mortar is applied to one or both sides of the wall with a steel mesh embedded to enhance load-bearing capacity and seismic performance. Cracks should be cleaned and repaired, with small cracks filled by pressure grouting and constructional columns set up on both sides of large cracks. When the connection between vertical and horizontal walls is loose, tie bars or constructional columns should be added to enhance the overall integrity of the house.

Other Reinforcement Measures: If uneven settlement occurs in the house foundation, grouting reinforcement can be used, where cement or chemical grout is injected into the soil voids to increase bearing capacity. Rusty reinforcement should be derusted and coated with anti-rust paint to prevent a decrease in structural safety.
