Cement Prefabricated House Foundation

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

The following are the reinforcement treatment and connection precautions for cement prefabricated house foundations:

Foundation Reinforcement Methods

1. Compaction Method
Repeatedly compact the foundation soil layer using a pneumatic hammer or heavy-duty road roller to increase soil density and enhance bearing capacity. This method is suitable for foundations with loose soil that has not severely lost stability. During operation, it is necessary to compact in layers to the design standard to ensure uniform soil density. Monitor settlement during compaction to avoid structural damage caused by excessive local compaction.

2. Soil Replacement Method
Excavate loose, weak, or excessively moist soil within the foundation range and replace it with high-strength materials such as well-graded crushed stone, sand, or lime-soil mixtures. Although this method is costly, it can thoroughly improve foundation performance, especially in areas with complex geological conditions or strict bearing capacity requirements. During backfilling, compact in layers and control the thickness and compaction coefficient of each layer.

3. Piling Method
Embed reinforced concrete piles or prefabricated piles into weak soil layers to transfer the upper load to deep stable soil layers. This method is simple to construct but has limited bearing capacity per pile, making it mostly used for low-rise buildings or temporary structures. The pile spacing should be calculated based on geological reports to avoid uneven settlement caused by pile group effects.

Foundation-to-House Connection Treatment

1. Concrete Defect Repair
If cracking or spalling occurs at connection points due to poor concrete soundness (e.g., excessive free calcium oxide) or incorrect mix proportions, thoroughly remove the damaged concrete to a solid interface, recast with high-strength concrete, and enhance curing. Before construction, inspect steel reinforcement for corrosion and perform derusting or reinforcement as necessary.

2. Foundation Trench Cleaning and Reinforcement
When debris, loose soil, or standing water is present in the foundation trench, clean it to the design base elevation first, then fill gaps with epoxy resin adhesive, and finally reinforce with carbon fiber sheets. The carbon fiber sheets should be continuously arranged along the force direction with an overlap length of not less than 200mm to enhance the tensile and shear resistance of the connection points and prevent cracks caused by uneven settlement.

Precautions: Conduct geological surveys before reinforcement to clarify soil layer distribution and bearing capacity characteristic values; strictly control material quality and construction techniques during construction to avoid secondary defects; and perform settlement observations after reinforcement to ensure deformation is within allowable limits.
